Large Cap stocks, stocks with a market capitalization of more than USD 10 billion but less than USD 100 billion, are in focus of mainstream investors. Prices are high and real bargains are hard to find. That’s why I recently screened the cheapest high yield mid capitalized stocks with a market capitalization below USD 10 billion.

Now, I made a screen of all large capitalized stocks with a dividend yield over five percent (high yield) and a single P/E ratio of less than ten. Ten stocks fulfilled these criteria of which three have a double digit yield; seven are recommended to buy. The highest yield comes from Telefonica S.A. (TEF).

In order to find some great opportunities, I screened all 10 percent yielding stocks with earnings per share growth of more than 10 percent yearly for the upcoming five years. Fifteen stocks remained of which ten are currently recommended to buy.

Dividend Aristocrats are stocks that have raised dividends over a period of more than 25 consecutive years and being part of the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats Index. The index summarizes 51 large cap, blue chip companies within the S&P 500 that have followed a policy of increasing dividends every year for at least 25 consecutive years.

I screened all Dividend Aristocrats by the best yields. 47 stocks yielding over one percent, 39 exceeding the two percent mark and 17 stocks have a yield over three percent. The index has only three high yields and six companies with a yield over four percent. The low yields are compensated by a higher growth in dividend payments and lower stock volatility. Below are the stocks with a yield over three percent.

I screened all mid-capitalized stocks with a dividend yield over five percent (high yield) and a single P/E ratio of less than ten. Thirteen stocks fulfilled these criteria of which five have a double digit yield; five are recommended to buy. The highest yield comes from YPF S.A. (YPF), an Argentina oil and gas refining and marketing company. The company is in process to be taken over by the government and lost half of its worth over the past year.

I screened all Challengers with the highest increase in sales and earnings over the recent quarter compared to the same quarter last year. I observed only those stocks with a quarter over quarter sales and earnings per share growth of more than twenty-five percent. Twelve stocks fulfilled these criteria of which four are high yields; eight stocks are recommended to buy. 83 percent of the results are from the basic material and services sector. Especially stocks from the oil and gas pipeline industry are dominant.

In order to catch up only stocks with a gaining earnings momentum, I observed only those stocks with a quarter over quarter sales and earnings per share growth of more than fifteen percent. Exactly thirteen companies fulfilled these criteria of which two have a yield over three percent.
