13 Unleveraged Dividend Challengers With Yields Over 2% | Dividend Income Growth

Dividend Challengers with very low debt to equity ratios and great initial dividend yields originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com

If you read my blog for a longer time you should have noticed that dividend growth is one of the most important wealth drivers for long-term dividend investors.

I also talked about the difference between high dividend yields at a low growth and low yielding stocks with a high dividend growth.

The answer of this question is a between solution: Look at good initial yields with growing dividends over the longer period. I talk about mentionable yields and growth rates above the inflation level.

Today I would like to combine both, good growth with an acceptable initial dividend yield. In addition I love it to find stocks with low or no long-term debt. This increases the chance for further big dividend hikes or an accelerated growth.

Only a low leveraged company has more flexibility to grow sales and income much easier. Let’s take a look into the third dividend growth stock category - Dividend Challengers.

Thirteen stocks from the Dividend Challengers list (stocks with dividend growth between 5 to 10 consecutive years) fulfilled my above mentioned criteria. One stock has a high yield close to the double-digit yield ratio and five got a buy or better rating by brokerage firms. Most of the companies from the screening results are low capitalized; eight of them have a market capitalization under USD 2 billion.

11 Cheap High Beta Consumer Goods Dividend Stocks

Cheap high beta dividend stocks from the consumer goods sector originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. You might know that I really love stocks from the consumer goods sector. They offer a very good risk profile for income seeking investors with a desire for future dividend growth. The problem is that they are also highly valuated. This was one of the reasons why I needed to purchase more and more stocks from other sectors like industrials and healthcare stocks.

I’m not worried about this because with every single stock purchase of other industries and sectors, my diversification rises. The second negative item in terms of consumer good stocks is that most of them are low beta stocks. If you like to make money in a strong upside market, you lose performance with low beta stocks.

This is the reason why I discovered some high beta stocks with attractive valuation figures this month in an article serial. If you are interested, here are the links to the articles:

Back the current screen about high beta consumer dividend stocks. I observed this time large capitalized consumer dividend stocks with a low forward P/E and a beta ratio above one.

My screen produced only eleven results with yields between 0.71 percent and 2.58 percent. Nearly all of them (10 stocks) have a current buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

20 Cheap Large Cap Dividend Challengers With Double-Digit Earnings Growth

Large capitalized Dividend Challengers with strong growth at a low valuation originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com

If you have read my blog for a longer time, you would have noticed that I often write about dividend growth stocks and dividends in general. One dividend growth category is the Dividend Challengers category. Those stocks have raised their dividend cash payments to shareholders over a period of more than 5 consecutive years but less than 10 years in a row.

Because of the rising market valuation, I wanted to know which of the Dividend Challengers are still fair or even cheap priced compared to its growth forecasts by analysts.

I selected all stocks from the dividend growth category with a market cap over $10 billion and a low forward P/E below 15. In addition, the expected earnings per share growth should be above 5 percent yearly. Exactly 20 companies fulfilled these criteria.

14 of the results have a current buy or better rating and five stocks yielding over the three percent mark.

20 Big Dividend Challengers With Highest Margins

Dividend income growth stocks with high margins and big market capitalization originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Every dividend is only half worth as it should be when the dividend payments are not sustainable or from a low margin business that needs money to keep the business running.

What investors want is a high profitability, a high margin. The strong dividend comes from alone in the long-run.

Today I like to focus on dividend growth stocks that have raised their payments over a period of more than five years but less than 10 years in a row. I like to show you, which of the higher capitalized companies work at the highest margins on the market.

It’s quite different to compare unequal business models but that’s the nature of economic. Investors look for the most profitable opportunities and they want to put their money into the most promising vehicle. Tobacco delivers a greater return than food. But food gives you a better return than retail.

The results show the top 20 companies with margins between 17.57 percent and 32.67 percent. Eleven of the results have a current buy or better recommendation.

50 Fastest Growing Dividend Stocks In May 2013

Stocks with highest dividend growth originally researched by Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. When a company raises dividends, it’s always a good sign. A firm with a growing dividend let your passive income grow and could put you on the next level of your financial freedom.

But more important than a dividend hike is the intensiveness of the dividend growth. A one percent hike each year is good but it won’t help you over the time. What you need is a stronger growth, something in the range around the 10 percent level.

Today I run my screen of the 50 fastest dividend growers from last month. Below the results are again some pretty good stocks with very good growth rates. All stocks still have a double digit-growth rate. The average dividend growth of the 50 best stocks amounts to 49.42 percent. The average yield is at 3.47 percent.

38 Stocks And ETFs Let Their Dividends Jump Last Week

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Last week, 36 stocks and two ETFs announced to raise dividends. It’s great to see how the American dividend stock machine works. Compared to the number of stocks from the recent weeks, the current results are still thin but solid. The list of the weekly dividend grower is very volatile and the number of constituents is between 10 and 100. This week, the average growth rates amounts to 33.8, a value twice as much as the results from last week.

I love it to see how companies increase their dividend payments despite the fact that I would buy only a few of them. The biggest names on the list are Clorox, Coach, Marriott, Macy’s and Potash. Three of the results are High-Yields and 20 have a current buy or better rating.
