A Compilation Of High-Yield MLP Oil And Gas Pipeline Stocks

Oil & gas pipeline operators transport fuel through pipelines, often over great distances.

Most of these companies are structured as Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs), which helps limit costs by passing tax obligations along to shareholders.

Since MLPs are required to distribute the vast majority of their earnings to shareholders, these stocks usually offer very high dividend yields.

Master Limited Partnerships have the same liquid trading characteristics as common stock, yet they are very different from common stocks. The most obvious difference is that MLP's are 'pass through' investment vehicles--they pass through the income to you the investor.

The Partnership pays no taxes at the company level--instead passing the income to you (and of course you likely pay taxes on the income). Thus one level of taxation is removed allowing the investor to receive a larger distribution.

Today I like to show you some of the highest yielding oil and gas pipeline stocks on the market. Pipelines generate stable revenues while having a clear benefit compared to railroad and transportation stocks in terms of CO2 emissions.

Here is a table of 15 high-yield oil and gas pipeline partnerships...

13 High-Yield Large Caps From The S&P 500 Stock Index

Despite all the hand-wringing over the beginning of the Federal Reserve interest rate increases, the fact of the matter is they will start small, stay small and happen at a very slow pace.

In fact, most Wall Street strategists predict that by the end of 2017, the fed funds rate will only be 2% at the very most. It could be even lower if economic growth slows down between now and then.

With that scenario very likely, solid stocks with a big yield will remain in demand. I screened the S&P 500 index for large cap, blue chip stocks that paid a 5% dividend.

As of now, 13 stocks pay such a high yield of which 5 have also a low forward P/E and 8 a buy or better rating.

A major worry for many yield-hungry investors is that when the Federal Reserve begins raising the federal funds rate, market prices for any yield-producing investment can come under pressure.

When interest rates rise, the value of an existing bond or preferred stock must adjust itself lower so it has the same yield as a similarly rated new security.

A good advice from me is to avoid stocks with high debt leverage like REITs. Those stocks are living from an interest margin that could be destroyed.

Here are the large cap high-yields from the S&P 500...

20 Cheap Stocks With The Highest Yields On The Market

In the seven years since the Federal Reserve slashed interest rates virtually to zero, investors have struggled to find income amid a low-yield landscape.

That's why stocks with high dividend yields are particularly appealing right now to income investors and savers -- double-digit yields, even more so.

Recently I wrote about the highest yielding stocks on the market with a buy or better rating. The yields from the results were all over 8 percent.

Today I like to share those stocks with you that offer the cheapest P/E, price-to-earnings ratios while having the highest yields on the market.

I've also include those stocks with a 2+ billion market capitalization. Limited Partnerships, Oil drillers, REITs and Telecoms are mostly higher yielding stocks, giving investors a large share of its annual profits back via dividends.

Here are the results...

20 Buy Rated Dividend Stocks With Yields Over 8%

One group of investors that has had more than their fill of quantitative easing (QE) is income investors, who rely on investments that pay steady and dependable dividends or distributions that help supplement other sources of income.

The whole point of QE was to drive down interest rates to make higher risk assets more attractive.

While that has worked out pretty well for growth stock investors with long time horizons, income and growth and income investors were left with very little to cheer about.

In the early 2000s, large money center banks were offering certificates of deposit, guaranteed for principal up to $250,000, that yielded anywhere from 5% to 7%. Currently that is in the 2%-plus range.

It's sad but we needed to say goodbye to higher yields with low risks. Today we get only low yields with high risk.

Attached you can find 20 stocks with a buy or better rating that offer you a 8% yield or more.

I've only included those stocks with a market cap over 2 billion in order to avoid the really big risks.

Here are my results....

20 Highest Yielding Ex-Dividend Stocks Of The Next Week

Attached is a list of the highest yielding stocks that go ex-dividend within the upcoming week. The full list can be found here: Ex-Dividend Stocks Of The Next Week August 03 - 09, 2015. Only MidCaps with a market cap over 2 billion were included.

IBM and Intel are the biggest stocks from the tech sector. The highest yielding stocks come from the oil and gas pipeline industry.

Below is a current stock list of dividend stocks (common shares, preferred shares and American Depositary Receipts – ADR’s), paying forthcoming dividends and having their ex-dividend August 03, 2015 – August 09, 2015. The average dividend-yield amounts to 4.32 percent.

19 Cheap High-Yielding Large Caps

Income investors with need for a high recurring income should look for stocks with high dividend paying stocks.

Today I like to introduce those companies with a market capitalization over 10 billion that pay dividends over 5 percent yearly. In addition, the companies should have a forward P/E of less than 15.

Only 19 companies do so for the time beeing which you can find in the attached list. That's not much compared to the numbers of the recent years but should a result of the monetary money printing and low interest area.

Here are some of my top picks...

These 4 High-Yield Stocks Pay Monthly Dividends

My readers looking for dividend paying stocks and some of them also look for stocks that pay more regular. I'm talking about monthly dividend paying stocks.

I've written in the past some great articles about the foolish thoughts about the myth of monthly dividend paying stocks but they still have a huge fan base.

Today, I’m going to share four monthly dividend stocks that you can bank on to pay your monthly bills, but with a very important note first: You should never buy a stock purely because its dividend is paid monthly. Dividend safety and growth are far more important considerations.

These are the results:

George Soros Highest Yielding Dividend Stocks

Beside Warren Buffett, George Soros is also a popular investor. He was born in 1930 in Hungary where he fled in 1947 to avoid the onset of communism.

Soros went to England where he graduated from the London School of Economics. He then moved to the United States and eventually opened his own hedge fund which would later be called the Quantum Fund.

Here are four high-yield holdings in that fund. Soros managed to achieve a 30% annual return with high Quantum Fund.

Today I like to introduce those stocks from his portfolio with high yields. Here are the highest yielding large cap results:

REIT Investing: 6 Top Picks From The Dividend Growth Space

As a long-term reader of my blog, you may have been noticed that REITs and MLPs are some of the highest paying dividend stocks.

When comparing REIT yields to investments with qualified dividends, you must always look at them on an after-tax basis. REITs trade on major stock exchanges and have become immensely popular since their introduction.

REITs pay high dividends due to the fact that they need to pay high amounts of their assets and gross income in order to keep their REIT status and therefore the tax optimized corporate structure.

Below are 6 top REIT picks from the dividend growth space that have a dividend yield of 5 percent or more.

Maybe The Best Dividend Stocks Of The S&P 500

Investing in indexes is a great way to avoid big risk especially when they are highly liquid like the Dow Jones or S&P 500.

Both are survival indices because over the recent years and decades, bad companies become eliminated and good stocks were included. Today, Apple is a star in the Dow Jones.

By eliminating the bad stocks from the good ones, investors can create an outperformance. The only question is how do we beat the market by selected better performing stocks?

To find the best dividend payers today, we need to divide the index into "High-yielders" and "dividend-growers". The first class of stocks pay a higher dividend but has a slow growth rate while the second group grows faster while paying only small amounts of money to shareholders.

In addition, I run my screen for firms with solid earnings outlooks and solid fundamentals, both within the high yielders and dividend growers’ category.

Finally, a list of nine dividend paying stocks remain. Please find attached the detailed results of the screen. Which do you like?

These are the results.....

7 Stocks With Current Shareholder Yields Of 15% Or More

You know that dividends are essential but buybacks also play a significant role in creating shareholder value.

A low dividend doesn't mean that the corporate pay low amounts of cash to shareholders. Some companies decided to buy back own shares. The shareholder yield (dividend yield plus buyback yield) is essential and tells the truth.

Today I would like to show you those 7 stocks with the highest shareholder yields. I'm not talking about yields of 5 percent or so. I'm taking the extreme of 15 percent or more. The results came from Goldman Sachs latest Total Cash Return to Shareholders list from April 23, 2015.

These are the top results in detail:

5 Dividend Grower With 10%+ Upside Potential

Dividends are essential for income investors but if we are honest, stock price growth is also important for wealth creating. The total return separates the good investors from the bad ones.

A high total return cannot achieve with low dividends and higher dividends are risky.

You need stocks with upside potential to boost your expected return, stocks with rising stock prices.

Today I like to show you some dividend growers that may have upside potential.
