These Are The 20 Best Performing Dividend Stocks Of The Year 2015 - Can They Repeat Their Success in 2016?

When investing in dividend stocks, the primary goal isn't necessarily to make a boatload of money right away.

Rather, most of us invest in dividend stocks for a stable, growing income stream that will build wealth over time. Still, dividend stocks do experience some big moves from time to time.

Today I like to give you an overview of the best performing dividend stocks of the year. The Dow Jones is negative year-to-date. It was a really hard year. Only seven stocks gained more than 100%. Around 40 companies had a performance over 50%.

You will see that high yields are not performance drivers.

Attached you can find the 20 best performing dividend paying stocks of the year. I've only selected those companies with a market cap over 300 million. The performance of the 20 top stocks starts at 60.19% and ends at 290.47%.

These were the best large cap dividend stock investments of the year 2015...

Warren Buffett Buys Precision Castparts. These Are 11 Dividend Alternatives From The Industry

Warren Buffett used his trigger to shoot a white elephant. He announced to buy Precision Castparts, a metal fabrication company with focus on the aero plane industry.

PCP is a huge investment for Warren Buffett.

Today I like to introduce some alternatives from the same industry. 18 public listed companies are located to the metal fabricaton industry but only 6 stocks have a market capitalization of more than 1 billion USD.

There is a huge conentration in the industry. PCP next competitor, Tenaris, has a 15 billion market cap, nealy half the value Warren Buffett paid for PCP.

However, here are the best dividend picks from the metal fabrication industry...

15 Cheap High Beta Industrial Dividend Stocks

Industrial dividend stocks with high beta ratios at a cheap valuation originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I love it to look for cheap stocks but bargains at the market are really hard to find especially because of the hundreds of thousands metrics you can use to identify an undervalued stock.

A major criterion which is often used by many investors is the price to earnings ratio. It tells you how many years do you need to get your investment back in corporate earnings. The lower the ratio, the cheaper your investment is. A P/E of 10 also means that the earnings yield is at 10 percent.
This month, I’ve created an article serial about high beta stocks. Those stocks are stronger correlated than the overall market and tend to outperform the broad S&P 500 in bullish times. They also tend to lose performance when the markets are going down.

Today I would like to screen high beta dividend stocks from the industrial sector with a cheap forward P/E ratio. Only fifteen stocks from the sector fulfilled these criteria and eleven of them are currently recommended to buy.

14 Large Caps Dividend Stocks Close To New 52-Week Highs

Large capitalized dividend stocks near 52-Week Highs originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". The markets are bullish and stocks move up. It’s getting hard to find real bargains or low valuated high-quality dividend stocks. The good thing is that in a bullish market, you can make money with different kind of stocks. Everything goes up and the main reason behind the expansive monetary policy.

Today I like to discover some large caps that are on the jump to reach new 52-Week Highs (up to 10 percent) or to hit All-Time-Highs. Only 14 companies are on the edge to touch new highs. That’s a small number compared to the strong market.

I love it when stocks make a home run. It seems that nobody can stop them but take care about the valuation. Some stocks have a P/E over 20! It could be dangerous to buy highly priced assets. Below the results are five with a yield over three percent. Ten have a buy or better recommendation.

Next Week's 20 Best Yielding Large Cap Ex-Dividend Stocks

The best yielding and biggest ex-dividend stocks researched by ”long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Dividend Investors should have a quiet overview of stocks with upcoming ex dividend dates.

The ex dividend date is the final date on which the new stock buyer couldn’t receive the next dividend. If you like to receive the dividend, you need to buy the stock before the ex dividend date. I made a little screen of the best yielding stocks with a higher capitalization that have their ex date on the next trading week.

A full list of all stocks with payment dates can be found here: Ex-Dividend Stocks Between May 20-26, 2013. In total, 85 stocks and preferred shares go ex dividend - of which 25 yield more than 3 percent. The average yield amounts to 3.15%.

Here is the sheet of the best yielding, higher capitalized ex-dividend stocks:
