Comcast Generates Higher Revenue - Latest Dividend Hike +10.5 % - #Comcast $CMCSA

US media group Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA) continues to distribute a quarterly dividend of $ 0.21 per share. The next payment will take place on October 23, 2019 (record date: October 2, 2019). In January, the company increased its dividend payout by 10.5 percent, or 2 US cents, to the current amount.

Extrapolated to the year, the dividend is $ 0.84. At the current price level of $ 44.61 (as of July 25, 2019), this corresponds to a current dividend yield of 1.88 percent.

Comcast was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Comcast includes brands such as NBC Universal or pay-TV provider Sky. Comcast generated revenue of $ 26.86 billion in the second quarter of fiscal 2019 (prior year: $ 21.74 billion). The net profit was $ 3.13 billion (previous year: $ 3.22 billion), as also reported on Thursday.
