Dividend growth is better than dividend yield because over the long-term, each investor could receive a higher return due to the growing business of a corporate.

Today I like to show you those stocks from the popular S&P 500 that have the fastest twelve trailing months dividend growth.

The screen excludes companies with current dividend yield of less than 2%. The growth rate methodology is based on trailing twelve-month DPS compared to the value one year ago.

    Is WMB an MLP? How is it taxed?

  2. 3M is on my watch list however the high P/E always throw me off. Such a strong company with amazing management philosophy.

    Anonymous, WMB is not, there was an MLP but I believe that WMB bought the Williams MLP (which had a different stock symbol ). BSR, the P/E isn't that bad for an amazing company with such an impressive moat, track record, and dividend, you might not see many opportunities to buy a dip. It's a fair price in my view I have 3M in my portfolio.
