29 Undervalued Dividend Stocks

Each company has a dividend yield of at least 3% and the ability to increase payouts.

With dividend stocks hot this year, some market experts are advising investors to be cautious and selective.

Identifying companies with room to raise dividends significantly, rather than focusing on finding the highest yields, might be your best way forward.

So we decided to take a deep dive into the S&P 1500 Composite Index, the S&P 400 Mid-Cap Index MID and the S&P Small-Cap 600 Index in order to identify possible dividend-stock bargains in every sector.

Here are all 29 stocks that passed the screen, broken down by sector:

Services Dividend Stocks With Highest Stock Performance - And Which Of Them Are Still Cheap

Services dividend stocks with highest year-to-date performance originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. The more I discover the best performing stocks from the recent half year, the better the performance gets.

Today I would like to discover stocks from the services sector with the highest year-to-date performance. The sector is the second best performer behind the healthcare segment but the performance is more unequal distributed: The best dividend stocks on the top 20 list have a price performance between 60 percent and 247 percent. Service is a place to be for investors.

In order to reduce some extraordinary companies and to get better results, I decided to exclude all stocks with a lower market capitalization (below USD 300 million). Small cap stocks have normally a higher performance ratio, also in this screen: More than half of the results have a market cap below a billion dollars. The average market cap of the top 20 stocks after my limit rule amounts to USD 2.6 billion.

Despite the strong stock price growth; twelve shares still have a buy or better rating. Broadcasting and TV companies are very hot and dominating the screening results. There is some rumor in the market about takeovers and mergers.

20 Most Hated Dividend Stocks From The Services Sector

Most sold short services dividend stocks originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". The services sector is a big part of the economy and the financial markets. Roughly 850 companies have a relationship to the sector – That’s around 13.3 percent of the overall market by number of constituents.

Today I like to show you which services dividend stocks are most hated within the financial industry. Investors hate such stocks by selling them short. They believe in a falling stock price and want to profit from it.

My screen includes only mid- and large capitalized companies with a float short ratio of more than 5 percent.

The 20 most hated stocks have a float short ratio between 8.79 and 29.31 percent. Gamestop is the most sold company. Seven of the results have a current buy or better rating by brokerage firms.
