These Dividend Stocks Are The Biggest Losers Of The #Brexit

The Leave campaign in the UK generated big shock waves on the capital market, especially banks, financial provider, insurer and exporters to the UK lost. Also on the sell-off list were foreign companies with a big footprint in the UK market.

Today I like to show you those dividend paying stocks that lost the most after the first sell-off on the market.

Today the markets look to calm down but we don't know what will happened in the next days.

In my view, the Brexit effects on the market are only short-term and driven by forex markets.

The ex dividend date is the final date on which the new stock buyer couldn’t receive the next dividend. If you like to receive the dividend, you need to buy the stock before the ex dividend date. I made a little screen of the best yielding stocks with a higher capitalization that have their ex date on the next trading day.

Raw Material dividend stocks with highest float short ratios originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Basic Material stocks were the worst performing stock category within the recent six month. The sector had a performance of -0.7 percent while the S&P 500 increased 15.27 percent.

The fear of an economic slowdown mainly caused by China’s slowing growth is the main reason behind.

Investors can benefit from a falling stock price via short selling. Today I like to look at the basic material dividend stocks with the highest float short ratio. I excluded all companies with a market capitalization below USD 2 billion.

The top 20 results have a float short ratio between 6 percent and 32.62 percent. Eight of the results still have a current buy or better rating.

Basic Material Dividend Stocks With Highest Short Float Ratio Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. Basic material stocks have a higher volatility, especially in times of cyclic economic growth. Investors could benefit from these fluctuations.

At the stock markets are 601 companies linked to the sector with a total market capitalization of USD 275.1 trillion. The average sector yield amounts to 3.19 percent and the average P/E ratio is 14.45. The highest dividend paying industries are nonmetallic mineral mining and oil and gas pipelines.

I screened the sector by dividend stocks with the highest amount of short selling stocks, measured by the float short ratio. The ratio shows how many stocks are shorted by investors. Companies with a high ratio of float short have a little upside potential if investors need to close their short position. Nine dividend stocks from the basic material sector have a float short ratio of more than 25 percent.
