11 Great Dividend Growth Stocks With Low Debt

Great dividend paying stocks with low debt ratios originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Dividend growth is wonderful but it does not mean a good return in the end. Out there are also stocks that hiked dividends over 10 years or more but they delivered only a 3 percent annual return of which 2 percent are explainable to cash dividend payments.

A good dividend growth stocks is a pick that delivers adequate returns far above the expected inflation rate. Nobody knows which stock can give you this but one critical factor is the amount of debt. A low leveraged stock has more possibilities to grow in an easy way.

Today I would like to share some great dividend stocks with low debt ratios. Great dividend stocks are those stocks that have delivered good growth and high returns combined in the past.

I used a restriction of a debt to equity ratio of 0.5 percent. Eleven stocks fulfilled my criteria of which six are recommended to buy.

15 Higher Capitalized Monthly Dividend Paying Stocks

Stocks with monthly dividend payments originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I know that you love it to receive dividends and some of you want dividends on a monthly basis.

I talked about this theme in the past and mentioned that it doesn’t matter how often you will receive the dividend. The good thing is that you get smaller amounts of money earlier that you can use for other investing activities. The bad item is that the more often you get dividends the higher the costs for the company because each transaction will produce costs at banks and service providers.

However, today I would like to introduce some of the 15 biggest companies with a monthly dividend payment. Seven of them yielding over five percent and nine got a buy or better rating from brokerage firms.

Most of the monthly dividends paying stocks have a relation to the financial sector e.g. REITs, Banks or asset management. The second biggest part of the list goes to basic material stocks like gold or oil companies.

17 Cheap Dividend Achievers With Very Low P/S Ratios

Cheaply priced stocks traded below its own book values originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I love it to look for high quality dividend stocks with a proven long-term track record but one thing I often noticed in my research is that the market gets more and more expensive. But if you would like to make a solid return, you definitely need cheap stocks.

With low yields, the valuation rises in an inflationary environment. That's the key premise in our economy.

Today I would like to try my best to discover some of the best dividend growth stocks with a current cheap valuation. I use two criteria for screening the Dividend Achievers database: A forward P/E below 15 as well as a price to sales ratio below one.

Exactly 17 dividend growth stocks fulfilled the mentioned criteria. Eight of them got a buy or better rating by brokerage firms. The yields are between 0.95 and 2.91 percent. That’s not much in my view but growth forecasts are positive for all of the results.
