13 Stocks With Dividend Growth In The Past Week
13 companies raised their dividends
during the recent week. Dividend is so important for investors who like to grow
their investments.
Below is a full
list of all stocks that have raised their dividend payments within the past
week. Five of the firms have a current yield of more than 3 percent.
Kroger, DTE
Energy, Matson, Disney and Worthington Industries were the biggest stocks, all
with a market capitalization above the one billion Mark.
Disney is for me
the most impressive stocks. It has grown more to a merchandise company and licensing
business than to an entertainment company, which is in general good.
I've missed the
chance to buy the stock. I still believe that the current prices are too high
but they truly reflect the strong growth which did not disappoint. Maybe I get
some shares within the next market correction.
These are the
latest dividend growers, sorted by yield....
12 Stocks and Funds With Recent Dividend Growth
Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally
published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”.
The summer season is going to reach its high and the list of dividend growers shrinks
to new lows. Last week, only 9 companies and three funds announced a dividend
hike. Only four of them have a current buy or better rating. The average
dividend growth of the top dividend growers from last week amounts to 13.29
percent.
Bill Ackman’s Highest Yielding Dividend Stock Bets And His Complete Portfolio
Bill Ackman’s latest portfolio transactions and
his biggest positions originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Some of you might
know Bill Ackman because of the phone battle against Carl Icahn on CNBC. He is
an activist with around USD 10 billion in assets under management. In his
management company “Pershing Square Capital” he has only 10 stock holdings.
As an activist, Ackman tries to increase
pressure on the management of a company in order to implement own visions of
the company’s future. Nearly half of his positions have voting rights over 10
percent.
His main investment focus is on defensive stocks
from the consumer and industrial sector. Around 70 percent of his exposure is
related to these two sectors.
Below is a small list of Bill Ackman’s latest
Portfolio transactions. He is a lazy guy. Last quarter, he bought only one
stock and he needed more than a year to complete his latest 20 transactions.
From his 20 latest transactions are 12 unique
positions of which 10 pay dividends. Dividend payments are not in focus of Ackman’s
investment strategy. Only one company yields above the 3 percent mark.
