20 Cheapest Large Cap Stocks With Fat Dividends And Low Debt Ratios

Blue chip stocks are established large-cap businesses that pay reliable dividends. They have long corporate histories and provide well-known products and/or services.

De-risk your portfolio with undervalued dividend payers that you can watch grow inside of your portfolio. With the market pulling back again, now is a great time to start adding shares while they’re cheap.

There are a number of stocks that have taken a beating of late, and that’s created some great buying opportunities. There are close to 350 stocks that pay a 2% plus dividend yield and are down 10% in 2016.

However, not all of these dividends are actually “cheap” from a valuation perspective, nor do all have the balance sheets or cash flows to support their dividends.

The key is to be prudent.

Attached you will see a list of the 20 cheapest dividend paying large cap stocks by forward price to earnings ratio. I've only listed those with a market cap over 10 billion with a debt to equity ratio below one. Those are two very essential restrictions to my screen.

As might see, there is a good mix of all sectors: Financials, Industrials, Services, Technology, Healthcare and Utilites.

These are the 20 cheapest dividend paying large caps by forward P/E ratio...

These Dividend Stocks Are The Biggest Losers Of The #Brexit

The Leave campaign in the UK generated big shock waves on the capital market, especially banks, financial provider, insurer and exporters to the UK lost. Also on the sell-off list were foreign companies with a big footprint in the UK market.

Today I like to show you those dividend paying stocks that lost the most after the first sell-off on the market.

Today the markets look to calm down but we don't know what will happened in the next days.

In my view, the Brexit effects on the market are only short-term and driven by forex markets.

Here are the biggest losers by one-week performance...

5 High Yield Dividend Stocks With High Beta Ratios

While investing in stocks with high dividends may be a good scheme to reinforce your loss-aversion principle, playing the market to dodge volatility requires some extra cautious steps. Beta measures the extent to which a fund’s return may be affected or how much the price fluctuates owing to market conditions.

A high beta shows normally how the performance of a single stock differs from the overall market. The higher the ratio, the bigger the out- or underperformance develops.

It's great if you like to be different, a star or a looser on the market.

Today I like to show you those higher capitalized dividend stocks with beta ratios over 1.5 and dividend yields over 5%. In order to keep the over levered stocks off the list, I only observed stocks with a debt to equity ratio under 1.

14 stocks fulfilled my criteria of which eight have a low forward P/E.

Here are the results...

Cheapest Dividend Paying Large Caps As of September 2013

Cheap large capitalized stocks with high growth originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Cheap stocks, bargains or undervalued companies can promise you good returns if you believe that they receive a better valuation within the next months or years. It’s very difficult to discover those stocks because of the hundreds of thousands technical and fundamental measures.

I often used my static ratios like earnings multiples or book ratios to identify cheaply valuated stocks. Today I like to change my recent criteria about cheapest dividend paying large caps a little bit. I tighten the restriction Price-To-Sales to a value of less than one and look at forward P/E’s. In the past, I’ve looked at current earnings multiples.

These are the criteria for my cheapest dividend paying large cap screen:
- Market Capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Expected Earnings per share growth over 10 percent for the next five years
- Forward P/E ratio under 15
- P/S under 1 and P/B ratio under 2
- Positive Dividends

The number of my results rose. Eighteen stocks fulfilled these criteria of which one pays a high yield of more than five percent. Nearly all, fourteen in total, got a buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

13 Cheap High Beta Basic Material Dividend Stocks

Cheap high beta dividend stocks from the basic material sector originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. The basic material sector is under fire. Nobody wants to go long on raw material producer or related industries. The fear of a slowing growth in China with the result of cheaper commodity prices is still aware.

The whole sector is down 3.1 percent over the recent six months while the best sector gained 17.9 percent during the same period. So many stocks can be bought for a single P/E within the sector but the risk is still high.

Today I would like to proceed my monthly screening serial about high beta dividend stocks. The basic material sector has a huge base of stock ideas on this field. In order to get the best results, I need to increase my limitations like this:

- Market capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Forward P/E below 15
- 5Y future earnings per share growth over 15 percent yearly
- Beta ratio over 1

Thirteen companies fulfilled these criteria of which one is a High-Yield. All results have a current buy or better rating.

51 Shares With A Rising Dividend, Announced Last Week

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. I’ve created a screen for my dividend yield hunters about the stocks with a dividend hike from last week. The list shows a full compilation of all dividend growers of the recent week. 51 companies are on the list and eleven of them have a high yield; 35 are currently recommended to buy.

The average growth slows a bit and hits some of the lowest levels this year. The average dividend growth last week was at 16.65 percent.

17 Cheap Growth Stocks From The Basic Material Sector With Current Dividend Payments

Basic material dividend stocks with highest expected growth and low price ratios originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Good stocks to buy are hard to find. But what are good stocks?

Good investment indicators

Primarily it’s a question of your investment philosophy or screening criteria. I am focused on dividend stocks with great yields, strong market positions and low limitations to grow. I also invest into stocks with no yields or low dividend payments.

Don’t look at the yield alone

The dividend yield is only an expression and should never be a single investment criterion. I know so many people who only look at the P/E ratio and the dividend yield and argue that the stock is cheap at a P/E below 10. That’s too easy. If the company has no debt, you should look the enterprise value.

Growth is the value driver

More important is growth. If a company doubles every 3 years sales and earnings, it’s normal that the stock is highly valuated. Stock valuation is a very complex area.

Today I like to screen some opportunities from the basic material sector. 595 stocks are available with a relationship to the raw material sector – nearly 300 of them pay dividends. The average sector P/E ratio amounts to 11.08 at a yield of 2.98 percent.

I screened large capitalized stocks with very high expected earnings per share growth for the next five years (over 10 percent) and a low forward P/E ratio of less than 15. Seventeen stocks fulfilled my criteria of which twelve are currently recommended to buy. Two High-Yields are below the results.
