Consumer Goods Stocks With Highest YTD Performance And Cheap Price Ratios

Consumer goods dividend stocks with highest year-to-date performance originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Consumer dividend stocks are my favorite investments when I think about how to make money on the stock market. I prefer those stocks because of the low cyclic they have. Most of them generate stable cash flows and pay good dividends as well as buy own shares back. Not to forget: They still have possibilities to grow in a developed market.

Today I would close my monthly screening serial of the best performing dividend stocks from several sectors with the consumer goods sector. These are the latest articles of the serial:

The 20 best performing dividend stocks from the consumer sector with a market capitalization over USD 200 million gained from 44.89 percent to 112.16 percent this year. The best performing non dividend paying stock is more an industrial stock than a consumer company. It’s the electric vehicle producer Tesla. The company’s stock price quadrupled since the start of the year. The top dividend payer is the multi-marketing level company Nu Skin Enterprises.

Despite the strong stock price increase, 16 of the top 20 performing sector dividend stocks still have a buy or better rating.

The Latest Big Dividend Stock Buys From James Barrow

James Barrow’s latest dividend stock buys and his portfolio originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com

James Barrow is a relatively unknown fund managers but he has big influence on Wall-Street. His assets under management exceeded the 55 billion mark in his investment firm Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss. This money was spread on 159 stocks of which 7 were completely new. James follows a value-oriented investment strategy.

James is a real dividend large cap lover. Nearly all of his latest 20 big stock acquisitions pay dividends. In addition, James is a much diversified guy. None of his stakes is extremely overweighed. The biggest position is the tobacco company Philip Morris and has a portfolio share of 3.5 percent while the 10th biggest stock holding weights only at 1.8 percent.

Compared to other fund managers, his performance is also weak in the short term. Over the past three years, the excess return was only 3.3 percent in total. His five-year advance is a bit better with 14 percent excess gain but over 10 years, his performance is 27.8 percent weaker than the S&P 500. Over a very long period of 15 years, he beat the market by 49.4 percent excess gain.

100 Stocks At All-Time-Highs

List of stocks at All-Time-Highs originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". We are still in a bull market and have seen a small correction since 5/21. The trend is still intact which could be also checked by the number of stocks at All-Time-Highs. They came back recently to a big number.

Below is a list of the 100 best performing stocks at All-Time-Highs. The biggest players on the list are 3M, Danaher, Precision Castparts or Illinois Tool Works. Half of the results pay dividends and 81 have a current buy or better rating.

It’s good to see how fast some stocks recover, a very healthy sign from the market. But the risk increases with every percentage point. You need to take care about the valuation of the stocks. Only 18 percent of the top 100 companies at All-Time-Highs are valuated with a P/E below 15.

Great Britain’s Best Yielding Large Cap ADRs With Cheap Price Ratios

Large capitalized stocks from the United Kingdom with low forward P/E’s and good dividends originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com".

I’ve started a new series of screens on my blog. The best yielding large cap stocks from foreign countries with cheap price ratios. The results from Asia and Latin America were inspirational for me but when I look deeper into the results, I realize that I could not build a deeper relationship to them. They are too far away from my research and their products and services are really unknown for me.

Today I like to come back to the core industrialized countries by screening stocks from the United Kingdom with an U.S. listing. A full list of the best yielding stocks from the FTSE can also be found in my weekly published E-Book “Dividend Weekly”.

My criteria are still the same: A market capitalization over USD 10 billion with a low forward P/E of less than 15. Finally, the dividend yield should be positive. In total, 16 of 38 U.K. stocks fulfilled these criteria. Thirteen companies have a current buy or better rating.
