20 Dividend Champions With Highest 10-Year Dividend Growth Rates

Dividend Champions with fastest 10 year dividend growth originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Dividend Champions are popular because of their long payment history. They increased dividend payments each year over a period of more than 25 years without an interruption.

In my view it’s for every high-quality stock possible to manage a 50 year dividend growth. The only requirement is a stable growing business with a high degree of self-financing. So, the only big difference between the longest dividend growers is the rate of the dividend growth. There are fast growing stocks and slow hikers. Which should you buy?

If you want to make money with dividend growth stocks, you need fast growth but it makes only sense to purchase them for an acceptable price. What return will you make when you pay a price that is 100 times of the expected earnings?

Today, I like to screen the investment category “Dividend Champions” by stocks with the highest rate of dividend growth over the recent 10 years. Linked is a full list of the top 20 champs with a double-digit dividend growth. Fourteen of the results have a current buy or better rating.

13 Dividend Champions With Very Low Debt To Equity Ratios

Dividend Champions with very low debt to equity ratios originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Safe stocks have a higher priority for me. I believe that I don’t need a bigger return when I try to avoid the real big risks of investing. Every cent I don’t lose with my current holdings is also a cent that I don’t need to earn with other stocks. That's my philosophy.

A real problem that affects the stock price is the debt situation. While everybody is only talking about growth and future potential, I do look at these ratios and the possibilities to repay the debt. Remember, you are a shareholder and get your dividends after loan and interest repayments.

Debt overloaded stocks have the problems that they need decades to reduce this debt if they are working in a non growing industry. A stock with a bigger cash amount on banks is in my view a better alternative. The company has more possibilities to grow and if they don’t find a solution for investing the money, the can repurchase own shares or boost the current dividend.

Today, I want to discover some of the best dividend growth stocks with a very long dividend growth history and a very low leverage risk. I selected 109 Dividend Champions and screened them by a debt to equity ratio of less than 0.1. Thirteen stocks remained of which seven have a buy or better ratio.

20 Most Recommended Dividend Champions | Stock Buy List

Black Hills Corp. (BKH)
Best Yielding Buy Rated
Dividend Growth Stock
Dividend Champions with buy ratings originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Dividend Champions are stocks with a history of dividend payments of more than 25 years in a row. Around 108 stocks have such a wonderful dividend growth history.

I personally love dividend stocks, dividend growth and consecutive dividend hikes. It gives me somehow the feeling that everything is all right. Not to forget, my trust into the company and the financial health is much higher if I see that the company shares its success with shareholders.

But not all dividend growth stocks are good investments. A past performance does not guarantee high future return. As you have see by long-term dividend growth stocks Avon Products. They cut quarterly dividend payments from 23 cents to 6 cents per share due to a bad operative performance and high debt burdens. These are all factors you need to observe when you buy a stock.

Today, I like to screen the current Dividend Champions recommendations by analysts and brokerage firms. I published the full results of the 20 most recommended A-Class dividend growth stocks on my blog. Five of the results have a yield over three percent and two have a strong buy rating.

Hottest Dividend Growth Stocks | 20 Best Buy Rated Dividend Achievers

Many people have a strong opinion to the development of stocks. Analysts and brokerage firms are professionals who spread opinions across the financial markets. Sometimes they get paid, sometimes they are long or short and benefit from asset price changes. However, there is still a reason for analyst ratings. I wanted to know what do the professionals think about the best dividend growth stocks and which stocks do they recommend mostly for the time being. In order to find the answer, I run a screen of stocks with more than 10 consecutive years of dividend growth and sorted them by the highest recommendation. As a result, nearly half of the Dividend Achievers have a current buy or better rating. Below is a list of the 20 best buy rated stocks.

4 Dividend Achievers With The Strongest Recommendation At The Market

Dividend Achievers With Strong Buy Rating Researched By “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Dividend Achievers stocks are very interesting in terms of wealth construction due to a continuous dividend growth. Such stocks raised dividends over a period of more than 10 consecutive years. At the markets are 187 companies available for trade that fulfilled these dividend growth criteria but not all have a good rating.

I screened the investment category by the highest recommendation rating, a strong buy. Only four companies have such a great recommendation of which one has a yield over three percent. But growth is more important than yield.

12 Dividend Champions With Lowest Debt

Dividend Champions With Low Debt Ratios Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. The amount of debt is of huge importance for investors. The debt level is a capital capacity measure and something like a buffer for tough times. If the company gets trouble, big credit lines could help the make sure that the company gets back on track.

Recently, I screened stocks with consecutive dividend hikes of at least 10 years in a row (Dividend Achievers) and low debt to equity ratios (below 0.1). Twenty-two Dividend Achievers fulfilled these criteria and most of the results had a low number of dividend hikes.

Now, I narrowed my criteria and screened the investment category Dividend Champions (over 25 years of consecutive rising dividends) by stocks with a very low debt to equity ratio (below 0.1). Twelve Dividend Champions fulfilled thesecriteria but only eight are currently recommended by brokerage firms.

12 Most Powerful Dividend Stocks

Dividend Stocks With Biggest Fire Power Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. Dividend investors are looking for stocks with great dividend payments. One criterion is the history of consecutive rising dividends. Others are fundamentals like margins, debt ratios or even growth rates. I like to discover those dividend stocks with the highest fire power in terms of dividend payments. First, the stock should have a consecutive dividend growth of at least 25 years (Dividend Champions). Second, the payout ratio should below 30 percent and the debt to equity ratio under 0.3. Stocks with such ratios have enough space to raise dividends when earnings are getting weak.

Twelve companies fulfilled these criteria of which nine have a current buy or better rating.

11 Technology Dividend Stocks With Accelerated Growth

Technology Dividend Stocks With Gaining Momentum Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. Growth stocks are wonderful especially if they are at the beginning of their growth path. Growth normally creates shareholder value and if the company doesn’t need much money to finance the growth, you can benefit already within the early stage.

In order to find some growth opportunities from the technology sector with current dividend payments, I screened the technology sector by stocks with a recent earnings growth of more than ten percent (past five years). In order to catch up only those stocks with a gaining earnings growth, I observed only stocks with a quarter over quarter sales and earnings per share growth of more than fifteen percent. Exactly eleven companies fulfilled these criteria. Ten of them are recommended to buy.
