20 Stocks With A Billion Dollar Buyback Program And Yields Over 2%

Let me ask you this: Would you rather buy a 10-year Treasury, which currently yields about 2%, or would you rather buy a large-cap stock with a 2% dividend yield, a billion-dollar stock buyback program, and share appreciation potential?

With bond yields as low as they are, there's no contest. The Fed's zero interest rate policy has created a situation where there's nowhere to go except the stock market.

Of course, the story will change once the Fed raises interest rates, which will make it more expensive for companies to borrow on the bond market. So there is a raging debate about when that will happen.

It is always better to own stocks in such situations. Those can hedge you against inflation. Fur sure, stocks are risky but if you look at the values of a company, and you avoid the big risks by not taking very cyclic stocks into your portfolio, you should be rewarded with a solid return.

Here are some alternatives with yields over 2% and a current buyback program worth over a billion dollar...

19 High Beta Technology Dividend Stocks At Reasonable Prices Compared To Growth

Cheap technology dividend stocks with highest beta ratios and good growth originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. High beta stocks are risky but they offer also big opportunities for risk seeking investors. The technology sector is one of the investment fields with a huge base of risk-adjusted business models.  Not every investment is a “win or fail” strategy.

Today I would like to continue my monthly screen serial about high beta stocks from several sectors. Technology dividend stocks are in my focus now. Because of the huge amount of high beta dividend paying technology stocks, I implemented three additional criteria in my screen: A very high market capitalization, an expected five year earnings per share growth as well as a low forward price-to-earnings ratio.

Growth should be over 10 percent for the next half decade and the P/E should below 15. In my view, this ratio represents a very good price for the future growth opportunity but the business model could be much riskier because of the high beta ratio. The betas of the 19 results are between 1.3 and 4. Some stocks like Telecom Italia, Orange or Broadcom have a really bad mid-term performance. Others like TE Connectivity from Swiss or Eaton increased during the same period by over 55 percent or more.

20 Of Europe’s Best Recommended Dividend Stocks

Best yielding dividend stocks from Europe with buy rating published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Europe’s roof is on fire due to the debt crises. That was one of the major headlines in the press of the recent year. Sure, the fire still burns but the worst seems to be over.

Europe’s economy still has values. It’s also an export-driven mainland with a GDP of 13,076 billion, the second largest figure in the world. Certainly, the economy is weak, unemployment rates are at a high level of 11.8 percent and growth slows with a contracting GDP growth of -0.6 percent year over year.

But the currency market turns and reaches the highest value since the debt crises was debated. More and more money comes back to Europe mainly because the ECBs easing policy which is one of the most reserved below the leading industrialized national banks.

Europe is not dead and I like to show you the best yielding investment opportunities with a current buy rating and a listing in the United States. 162 companies with headquarter in Europe are listed on an American Stock Exchange. 102 of them pay dividends and 57 have a current buy or better rating. In order to exclude the stocks with a higher risk due to a small business model, I selected only stocks with a market capitalization over USD 10 billion. 41 stocks still remain.

You can find a list of the 20 most recommended stocks below. The list shows that Europe has still completive companies with a dominant market position. I think about Novo Nordisk or Anheuser Bush. Also Deutsche Bank and National Grid are leading players.

20 Hottest Technology Stocks | Best Stock Buy Rating List

Technology stocks with highest buy ratings originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Technology fascinates us all also if we are not real techies who wants the latest stuff whatever it costs.

Technology stocks also made many people very rich. Some of the wealthiest and youngest persons in this world made their wealth on the internet or in related industries. I don’t talk about the Page brothers from Google, Facebook's Zuckerberg or Bill Gates.

This alone is a reason why we should observe the technology sector because there is a huge potential of growth at limited cots. Today, I like to proceed with my January research of the most recommended stocks and I do this at the technology sector.

Below is a small list with some fundamentals about tech stocks with the highest buy rating. I excluded stocks with a market capitalization below USD 2 billion because I think the risk should be much higher as for mid-capitalized stocks.

These are the results: Eleven of the best to buy rated stocks pay dividends; nine have a strong buy rating.
