5 Simple Great And Safe Dividend Growth Stocks

Dividend growth stocks offer the best of both worlds -- potential for capital appreciation and rising income even in a volatile market. This is because these stocks belong to mature companies, which are less susceptible to large swings in the market, while simultaneously offer outsized payouts or sizable yields on a regular basis irrespective of the market direction.

Additionally, these companies have a sustainable business model and enjoy competitive advantages, a long track of profitability, rising cash flows, good liquidity, strong balance sheet and some value characteristics.

All these superior fundamentals make dividend growth stocks quality and promising investments for the long term. Further, a history of strong dividend growth indicates that a future hike is likely. This makes the portfolio healthy and safe.

Attached you will find a 5 stocks that might be a great asset for your portfolio...

My Favorite Dividend Paying Buyback Hero Stocks

As you might know, I am a big fan of dividend growth and stock buybacks. Each action is a shareholder friendly way to give money back to the owner of the company.

Dividends are direct and share buybacks are indirect and more tax efficient. Both activities only make sense if the management team has a clear view about the valuation and growth perspectives or potential of the corporation. If there is an opportunity to grow with low risk, dividends shouldn't be paid in a big way. The same is neccessary for buybacks. There must be a mix of both in balance with growth.

Today I like to share a sheet of interesting stocks with good outstanding buyback programs. I've focused my research on growth and dividends while the valuation level doesn't exceed critical levels.

Here are my results...

12 Dividend Growth Stocks To Create A High Shareholder Return

Dividend stocks are the foundation upon which great retirement portfolios are often built. Inclusive of dividend reinvestment, investors have enjoyed an average return of approximately 7% per year by staying invested in high-quality, dividend-paying stocks over the long run.

Dividends offer a number of key advantages for investors. The most obvious is that they can help hedge against inevitable stock market corrections. However, dividends also act as a beacon to attract investors to high-quality companies.

A company would more than likely not issue a quarterly dividend and share a percentage of its profits with investors if it didn't believe those profits were sustainable, or could grow, over the long-term. Lastly, dividends can be reinvested back into more shares of dividend stock, thus leading to a process known as compounding where you wind up with successively more shares of stock and bigger dividend payouts in a repeating cycle.

Today I like to introduce a few dividend paying stocks with potential to give you more than 7 percent per year.

These are my ideas....

13 Potential Dividend Kings To Buy For The Next Decade

Long-term dividend growth has a big lack. It focuses only on stocks with a long-term dividend hike.

If a company pays no dividend but buys back tons of its own stock, it means not that the company is bad. The company has the same quality but will not see as a long-term dividend growth investment.

That's one reason why I'm trying to put some buyback kings into the screen. Another lack is that future dividend kings, who are only 3 years on the market and paid two years dividends to the public, will not be included into the search results.

For sure those stocks with a short business age also offer higher risks, but sometimes the business runs for decades but was private.

Today I like to show you a few interesting stocks that have risen dividends over more than 5 consecutive years. Each of the stocks could become a dividend champion or dividend king one day.

But the risk to fail is also higher than for stocks that are still playing the dividend champions league. Exactly 412 stocks managed to grow dividends over more than 5 years.

Here are my personal favorites...

19 Dividend Growth Stocks With Potential To Double Payouts

Dividend stocks can be the foundation of a great retirement portfolio. Not only do the payments put money in your pocket, which can help hedge against any dips in the stock market, they're usually a sign of a financially sound company.

Dividends also give investors a painless opportunity to reinvest in a stock, thus compounding gains over time.

However, not all income stocks live up to their full potential. They give only a small part of their cash potential back to shareholder. This might have different reasons like growth opportunities, debt payback and many more.

Today I like to introduce a few dividend growth stocks with very low dividend payout ratios, low price multiples and small debt burden as well. Each of the stock has a potential to grow earnings for the next years.

Attached you will find 19 of stocks with payout ratios currently below 30% that could potentially double their dividends.

The Best Dividend Ideas From The Buyback Achievers Index

There are a number of ways in which a company can return wealth to its shareholders.

Although stock price appreciation and dividends are the two most common ways of doing this, there are other useful, and often overlooked, ways for companies to share their wealth with investors: Dividends and share buybacks.

Buybacks is one way to build values for investors. It's a kind of income usage. Buying back own shares increases future eps when the net income is constant.

Today I would like to introduce a number of stocks with interesting fundamentals and price ratios that have bought own shares in a significant amount back.

Each of the attached stocks have fulfilled all of the following criteria:

- Share reduction over the past year over 5%
- Forward P/E under 15
- Debt-to-equity under 1
- Positive ROA
- EPS growth for the next five years over 5%
- Dividend yield at least 2%

Here are the results...

19 Dividend Stocks With A Cash Return Yield Over 10%

Dividends and share buybacks help increase value for people holding a stock, and there's a lot of money to be had as companies shovel record amounts of cash back to shareholders.

We recognize activist investors often agitate for firms to return excess cash to shareholders via buybacks. However, while repurchases may lift share prices in the near term, they are a questionable use of cash at the current time when the median S&P 500 multiple is so high. In our view, acquisitions – particularly in the form of stock deals – represent a more compelling strategic use of cash than buybacks given the current stretched valuation of US equities.

I've compiled a list of the top 19 stocks, all with a total cash return yield of more than 10%. Below include how much of the return is from dividends or buybacks. You'll also find a comment about cash returns from company executives on the during their latest quarterly earnings call.

13 Large Cap Financials With High Potential To Boost Dividends

Financial dividend stocks with low payout ratios and relatively small debt figures originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I started an article serial about stocks with low dividend payout ratios and small debt figures this month.

I believe that these two ratios have a big impact to judge the ability of a corporate to grow at a faster pace and hike dividends in the future.

Today I would like to discover the financial sector by stocks with a less than 20 percent dividend payout ratio and a debt to equity leverage of less than one. Because of the huge amount of results, I will only look at those stocks with a market capitalization over USD 10 billion.

Exactly thirteen financial stocks fulfilled these criteria of which one is a High-Yield.

Ex-Dividend Stocks: Best Dividend Paying Shares On August 28, 2013

The best yielding and biggest ex-dividend stocks researched by ”long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Dividend Investors should have a quiet overview of stocks with upcoming ex dividend dates.

The ex dividend date is the final date on which the new stock buyer couldn’t receive the next dividend. If you like to receive the dividend, you need to buy the stock before the ex dividend date. I made a little screen of the best yielding stocks with a higher capitalization that have their ex date on the next trading day.

In total, 154 stocks go ex dividend - of which 59 yield more than 3 percent. The average yield amounts to 4.49%. Here is a full list of all stocks with ex-dividend date within the upcoming week.

Here is the sheet of the best yielding, higher capitalized ex-dividend stocks:
