Warren Buffett Buys And Sells These Stocks Surprisingly

Warren Buffett and his team of portfolio managers listed some 148 positions worth a whopping $147.9 billion in equities in the official Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. This compared to $128.8 billion as of the end of the third quarter of 2016 and $115.46 billion as of December 31.

It is important to understand that some changes are made by Warren Buffett himself, with 14 sub-entities of Berkshire Hathaway in prior filings. Other changes may have come from the likes of newer portfolio managers Ted Weschler and Todd Combs. It appears as though the Buffett portfolio managers have been given much larger investing amounts.

If there is one key takeaway for the 2017 stocks it would be that this was one of the largest changes we have seen in years. New stakes were added and other stakes were grown. Other stakes were cleaned out or decreased.

20 Undervalued Dividend Stocks With PE's Below 10

The S&P 500 is currently trading near an all-time high, which is making it quite difficult to find companies that are trading on the cheap.

However, if you're willing to turn over a lot of rocks, you'll find that there are still a handful of stocks out there that are trading for dirt-cheap prices.

With dividend stocks hot this year, some market experts are advising investors to be cautious and selective. Identifying companies with room to raise dividends significantly, rather than focusing on finding the highest yields, might be your best way forward.

I've tried to find a couple of undervalued stocks that might not be overbought or overprices. I've selected those stocks with positive earnings growth and single digit P/E's multiples.

Here are the results of my research...

Warren Buffett's Buys And Sells Surprisingly These Dividend Stocks

When it comes to dividends, Warren Buffett won't dish them out -- but he will take them.

Buffett has for years maintained a strict no-dividends policy at Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) (BRK.B). The conglomerate has paid only one dividend during his tenure, in 1967, and he has joked that he "must have been in the bathroom" when the decision was made.

"The question is about evaluating Berkshire when it doesn't pay any dividends," the billionaire said in a 1998 lecture at the University of Florida Business School. "And it won't pay dividends, either. That's a promise I can keep. All you get with Berkshire stock is that you can stick it in your safe deposit box, and every year you take it out and fondle it."

While Buffett won't distribute dividends to Berkshire Hathaway shareholders, he has no qualms about collecting them from others. Most of the companies in his investment portfolio make regular dividend payments.

For sure, financials, energy and media stocks are also long investment for the investment guru Warren Buffett.

8 Interesting Income Stocks For Investors With A Long Horizon

When it comes to building long-term wealth, there is no better means than the stock market.

Even during times of massive social, economic, and geopolitical instability, blue-chip dividend stocks have shown an incredible ability to climb “the wall of worry.”

However, even better than dividend stocks in general are dividend growth stocks, which studies have found to outperform the broader market over time.

This is because companies that pay growing dividends, such as Dividend Aristocrats, need to be more careful and selective with their capital allocation, meaning maintain stronger balance sheets and only invest in the best growth opportunities.

Of course, finding great dividend growth stocks, and building a high-quality dividend portfolio isn’t always easy. You need to not just focus on the size of the current yield and potential payout growth potential but also make sure that a company’s earnings and cash flows can make the dividend reliable and secure.

The following is a look at nine fresh-faced dividend stocks that have only begun a regular payout sometime over the past five years:

20 Quality Buybacks At A Reasonable Price

On one hand, many would argue that the emphasis on share repurchases is merely a sign of the times – the US economy continues to grow (albeit slowly) while corporates enjoy ample balance sheet flexibility in an entirely unprecedented ultralow interest rate environment characterized by the Fed’s ongoing reluctance to raise rates as much of the world’s government debt has moved to negative yields…

On the other hand, buyback activity near all-time highs could be considered a potential sign that the current Bull Market is approaching its peak. While there is a plausible argument supporting greater share repurchases – return of excess cash in the absence of viable alternative investments – firms have historically exhibited poor timing.

Management tends to repurchase shares in bull markets when profits are high and balance sheets are flush with cash, while cutting back during recessions (precisely the time they should be buying over the long term).

Here are 20 high quality buyback kings at a reasonable price...

5 Unpopular, Underestimated Large Cap Dividend Stocks

Investment professionals teach that you should buy stocks, and sectors, when they are cheap and out of favor. Even with the market near all-time highs, there are still such sectors, and such stocks, around.

These are serious companies with solid earnings, many of which pay dividends. Cheap stocks are out of favor as investors chase growth, but tastes change. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket, the pros caution. Investing fashions will change.

Companies will rise and fall in the estimation of the market. Buy those strong companies and vital sectors that are weak now, instead of those that are strong, and in the long run everything will adjust.

Your returns will average out. This is the difference between investing and gambling with your money. An investor will spread their bets, buying what’s cheap and selling what’s dear.

A gambler will buy what’s hot, and then be shocked when it falls, as hot stocks inevitably do. Diversification and sector rotation are the short odds. Even in today’s market, there are stocks you can buy now, cheap, and guarantee yourself a return in terms of dividends.

When tastes do change you will be very glad to have these cheap stocks in your portfolio. Even if the stocks stay cheap, buying them now gives you dividends, income you can either live on or reinvest.

Attached you will find five top picks that might look cheap and deliver a solid return if the market evaluates the mispriced situation.

10 Best Stocks By Shareholder Yield As Of June 2016

The top 10 list saw very minor shifts for June typical of the months when a limited amount of quarterly updates exist on stock buybacks.

In fact, no stock shifted more than one spot on the list with American Airlines topping the list for a second consecutive month.

With the increased position of United Airlines, the list is now highly focused on the airline, technology, and financial sectors. The average yield gained without any new company joining the list due in part to the monthly loss. The amazing part is that the top four yielding stocks exceed 20% yields.

5 Cheap Value Stocks To Invest In 2016

When looking ahead to 2016, investors must ask themselves what is the best way to gauge the market and what metrics they should be using.

2015 was a really good year for my portfolio stock holdings. But if I look forward, I need to position myself for the fiscal year 2016. By using value ideas, A few names came into my mind.

Energy stocks or energy related companies look cheap if you bet on a rising oil price. Retailers like Kohl’s or GameStop are also underestimated if you believe that Online will not kill their business.

Attached you can find a few least expensive stock ideas. In determining the “least expensive” companies, these were merely based on the lowest forward price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio.

Included along with each was the recent trading history, the consensus analyst price target from Thomson Reuters and additional color for what is happening or may need to be watched ahead.

Whether these companies are ripe and ready to buy or a value trap is the question that will be answered in 2016. It is no surprise that this list would be dominated by major airlines, as the result of incredibly low oil prices, but we have only chosen one, with a couple of honorable mentions.

45 Stocks With Growing Dividends In The Past Week

Attached is a list of all dividend growers from the past week.

In total, 45 companies increased their dividend payments of which 16 are higher capitalized (over 2 billion market cap).

6 stocks from the results have a yield over 10 percent while 8 paying dividends of 5 to 10 percent. Most of the high yielders are low capitalized stocks of which I'm not really sure how long they will pay dividends in general.

My greatest surprise was the dividend hike of Alliance Holdings and Alliance Resource Partners. Both increased dividends despite high debt and falling coal prices. Shale Gas is killing Coal but ARLP still generate cash from coal mining. Let's follow what happens in the future.

These are my favorites from the list. Which do you like?

5 Fairly Priced Dividend Stocks With Deep Values

Dividend investors need an attractive purchase price in order to realize a solid return for the future.

The market valuations skyrocket and let it become difficult to find cheaply valuated dividend stocks with deep values that might give you a margin of safety.

While this list cannot contain all dividend value stocks, it contains most of my favorites that I believe carry a good combination of value, yield, and upside.

Below are five picks that might be interesting some of the criteria. Which do you like?

5 Fairly Priced Dividend Stocks With Deep Values are....

5 Stocks With 30+ Percent Upside in 2015

I've read an interesting article on CNN Money, called: 7 stocks Wall Street thinks will soar this year.

The author introduced seven stocks about which the Wall-Street guys seeing good upside potential this year.

Normally, I don't care about those articles, especially when I see that Tesla, Facebook or some Biotech’s are recommend but this time, I agree with
five stocks from the list.

Here are the results...5 Stocks With 30+ Percent Upside in 2015 are...

16 Large Caps With Skyrocket Dividends

Dividend growth is important, no discussion about that. Many analysts and investors say that a fast growing dividend is a result of a rosy business which runs very well.

Others research studies say that high dividend raiser perform better than the market.

However, I like to show you which large capitalized stocks increased their dividends over the past year at the highest rate, more than 50 percent.

Purchasing high growth is better than buying high yielding stocks. A list Dividend Aristocrats with the fastest dividend growth rates can be found here: 10 Dividend Aristocrats With The Highest Possibility To Grow Dividends At The Fastest Pace...

You can find the full list at the end of this post. I hope you get some new inspirations which help you to structure your investments. Thank you for reading and commenting.

10 Large Cap Dividend Stocks Close To New 52-Week Highs And A Single P/E Multiple

Cheaply valuated dividend stocks close to new 52-Week-Highs originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. The markets are at all time highs and the valuations is getting more and more expensive, measured by earnings multiples. Not all stocks are highly priced. Out there are still a lot of opportunities with a single P/E multiple.

Today I would like to show you those stocks that are close to new 52-Week-Highs and having a single earnings multiple at the same time. In order to reduce the results, I observed only companies with a market capitalization over USD 10 billion.

Ten stocks fulfilled my criteria of a very low P/E and a stock price up to 3 percent below new highs. All ten have a current buy or better rating.

18 High Beta Services Dividend Paying Stocks With High Growth And Low Valuation

Services dividend stocks with high betas and big growth at low valuation originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Today I would like to go forward with my monthly screen serial about high beta dividend stocks. Beta is a financial stock market ratio that shows how much the performance of a stock differs from the performance of the overall market. Beta ratios over one mean that the stock is stronger correlated to the market. Shares of the company move stronger up and down.

In bullish markets, you can make a better performance if you have high beta stocks in your portfolio. Today I would like to show you which of the services dividend stocks have the highest betas. Because of the huge amount of results, I needed to implement additional criteria. All stocks should have a low valuation measured by a forward P/E under 15 at earnings per share growth rates for the next five years of more than 10 percent yearly. Not enough, all stocks must have a market valuation over USD 10 billion.

Eighteen stocks fulfilled the above mentioned criteria. Sixteen have a current buy or better rating. The disadvantage is that the best results are low yielders. The highest dividend yield amounts to 2.81 percent. Low yields don’t mean low returns: The stocks generated a return between 8.94 percent and 76.75 percent since the beginning of the trading year.
