Gold Comes Back: Here Are The 15 Best Dividend Ideas From The Industry

Dividend stocks – that term says a lot. You buy a stock and on a recurring basis it pays you a cash dividend....And over time, thanks to those cash distributions and capital appreciation fueled by shareholder loyalty, the stock price rises.

That’s a great way to build wealth. Another way is to buy gold. Gold is a true hard value and should hedge your cash against inflation.

In the past, it worked really well until gold prices began to crash. In recent days we see a small turnaround of gold prices. The leading big reserve banks still pumping tons of money into the market and a fear of recession is increasing.

However, I'm not a gold investor and don't have any gold stocks but for sentiment or momentum trader, it could be a great trading idea to bet on rising gold prices with gold dividend stocks.

Attached I've compiled all 15 gold stocks that pay a dividend. If you have any comments, please share your thoughts at the box below. Thank you for reading and contributing.

20 Best Performing Dividend Stocks Year-To-Date 2016

The start in the year was not as perfect as we have expected. At the end of last year, we saw a small bounce back to all-time highs but during the first month of the year 2016 we saw a small disaster.

The Dow Jones is down 7.29% and the S&P 500 6.88% for the first 4 weeks of the year. Despite the bad start into the year, a dozen of stocks gained more than 10 percent.

If this is a small signal for the rest of the year or a simple different reaction, we will see it over the next months.

Today I like to show you the 20 best performing dividend stocks since the start of the year 2016. They gained from 11.23% to 50.57% in the first 30 days of the year 2016.

Here are the best dividend stocks since the start of the year 2016...

11 Basic Material Stocks With Low Debt And Dividend Payout Ratios

Basic material dividend stocks with low dividend payout ratios and small debt figures originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. The basic material sector is not popular at the capital market for the time being. Over the past year, shares from the sector are the worst performing assets class on the market.

But what others hate does not mean that you cannot make money with basic material stocks. If you are a long-term investor, you should definitely find some good stocks with a cheap valuation. But be careful, raw materials are also more cyclic than consumer or healthcare companies.

Today I would like to continue my monthly screen about dividend stocks with low debt ratios and little dividend payments. I observe stocks from the basic material sector with a dividend payout ratio of less than 20 percent of earnings as well as a debt to equity ratio under 0.2.

Exactly eleven stocks fulfilled these criteria of which eight are currently recommended to buy. Agrichemicals and specialty chemical companies are the dominating player on the list.

20 Of The Safest Dividend Challengers On The Market

Dividend Challengers with lowest beta ratios originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". I love high-quality dividend growth stocks and the stocks with the longest history of consecutive payments are definitely Dividend Kings and Dividend Champions. But the big disadvantage of them is that they are also highly priced.

You cannot make a greater return with stocks that have a P/E ratio of 22 and grows only at 5 percent. You need real bargains to make big profit with your asset.

This problem can be solved when you look into the dividend potentials. Those stocks haven’t yet reached a longer dividend payment history but they can become a great Dividend Champion within the next years. The price ratios are also lower for some companies and you have a better choice to find good investments because out there are around 160 stocks with five or more years of consecutive dividend payments and 207 with a payment between 10 to 25 years.

Today I like to screen the third class of dividend growth stocks by the safest alternatives. The 20 safest dividend growth stocks have a beta ratio between 0.18 and 0.55. All three top picks come from the oil & gas pipeline industry, a branch with very stable sales and future growth perspectives due to the shale gas boom in the United States.

From the 20 safest Dividend Challengers have nine a current buy or better rating.

20 Dividend Challengers With Very Low Debt

Dividend Challengers With Low Debt To Equity Ratios Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. Stocks with a history of rising dividends of more than 5 years but less than 9 years in a row are named Dividend Challengers. 189 companies with such a dividend growth performance are available at the markets. But past dividend growth does not guarantee a future dividend hike if earnings are down. A major ratio to judge the ability of paying dividends from capital assets is the debt to equity ratio.

I screened all Dividend Challengers by companies with very low debt to equity ratios (ratio below 0.1). Those stocks are nearly free of debt and have a generous cushion of future dividend hikes. Below the results are some of stocks with a very low market capitalization which are not to recommend in a deeper analysis. 20 stocks with a market capitalization of more than USD 300 million remained. Twelve of them have a current buy or better rating.

12 Dividend Challengers With Highest Recent Growth

Dividend Challenger Stocks With Accelerated Growth Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. Dividend Challengers are companies with rising dividends of at least five consecutive years but less than ten years in a row. 190 dividend stocks achieved this goal. Not all of them can follow its dividend growth policy due to a negative business performance. Let’s figure out the good stocks.

I screened all Challengers with the highest increase in sales and earnings over the recent quarter compared to the same quarter last year. I observed only those stocks with a quarter over quarter sales and earnings per share growth of more than twenty-five percent. Twelve stocks fulfilled these criteria of which four are high yields; eight stocks are recommended to buy. 83 percent of the results are from the basic material and services sector. Especially stocks from the oil and gas pipeline industry are dominant.

11 Basic Material Dividend Stocks Starting To Boom

Basic Material Dividend Stocks With Improved Earnings Growth Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. Basic material stocks are elementary for the economy. What they mine will be processed by downstream companies. The price of commodities leads to growth of the economy; stimulating or slowing down. Basic material stocks can only become to an unbeatable asset at high prices of raw materials.

In order to find some opportunities, I screened the sector by stocks with an earnings and sales growth of more than fifteen percent over the past five years. In order to catch up only those stocks with a gaining earnings momentum, I observed only those stocks with a quarter over quarter sales and earnings per share growth of more than twenty-five percent. Exactly eleven companies fulfilled these criteria of which one is a high yield; nine are recommended to buy.
