The Biggest Ex-Dividend Stocks Between October 22 - 28, 2012

The Best And Biggest Ex-Dividend Stocks Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. Dividend Investors should have a quiet overview of stocks with upcoming ex-dividend dates. The ex-dividend date is the final date on which the new stock buyer couldn’t receive the next dividend. If you like to receive the dividend, you need to buy the stock before the ex-dividend date. I made a little screen of the best yielding stocks with a higher capitalization that have their ex-dividend date on the next trading week.

Dividend Stocks Close At New Highs By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. Here is a current sheet of dividend stocks (positive yield) that have marked a new 52-Week High within the recent days. Despite the turmoil’s at the markets, there are 200 companies at one-year highs and 116 of them pay dividends. I screened the best performing stocks and analyzed all with a P/E ratio below 15 and a yield over three percent. Twenty-four companies fulfilled these criteria of which thirteen have a buy or better recommendation. Five stocks have a yield over ten percent.

Large Cap stocks, stocks with a market capitalization of more than USD 10 billion but less than USD 100 billion, are in focus of mainstream investors. Prices are high and real bargains are hard to find. That’s why I recently screened the cheapest high yield mid capitalized stocks with a market capitalization below USD 10 billion.

Now, I made a screen of all large capitalized stocks with a dividend yield over five percent (high yield) and a single P/E ratio of less than ten. Ten stocks fulfilled these criteria of which three have a double digit yield; seven are recommended to buy. The highest yield comes from Telefonica S.A. (TEF).

High yield stocks, companies with a dividend yield of more than five percent, are often an attractive investment class especially in times of low short-term interest rates. 927 stocks with a yield over five percent are available at the market. In order to find some opportunities, I screened the investment category by stocks with a P/B ratio below one and a market capitalization of more than USD 10 billion. If you buy a stock below the book value, you get for a dollar of your cash more than a dollar in assets.

Eight companies remained of which four have a double-digit yield. Four stocks are recommended to buy and two have a strong buy rating. All of the results are from the financial and telecom sector.

Especially in the case of higher capitalized companies, the possibility of high dividend payments for the long-run is much higher. They are big and generate huge cash flows. However, I screened all stocks with a market capitalization over USD 10 billion with a dividend yield of more than 5 percent. In order to exclude stocks with a higher valuation, I decided to select only those stocks with a single P/E ratio. As result, ten companies remained of which four companies have a double digit yield. Some of the companies, like Telefonica (TEF), have announced to reduce the upcoming dividends. Six of the results have a buy or better rating.
