17 Best Rated Monthly Dividend Paying Stocks With Big Yields

While most dividend paying stocks that trade on exchanges in the US pay quarterly, there are some stocks that pay their dividends on other schedules.

A handful pay their dividends semi-annually while there is a larger population of monthly dividend stocks.

While only one aspect that should be considered in selecting stocks for investment, monthly dividend payments can be advantageous for building wealth over time and to smooth out a dividend retirement income stream.

Attached you will find a compilation of monthly paying stocks that met the following criteria:

- Pay dividends of 6% (plus or minus)
- Are growing those dividends
- Have solid balance sheets

A handful of these businesses even have investment grade credit ratings. The table below provides a list of 17 monthly dividend stocks sorted on dividend yield.

The Best Monthly Dividend Stocks For High-Yield Income Investors

The table below provides a list of 17 monthly dividend stocks sorted on dividend yield.

A handful of these businesses even have investment grade credit ratings.

It should be noted that this list is not all inclusive of monthly dividend paying stocks as there were a few monthly distribution paying master limited partnerships (MLPs) and a couple of crude oil production trusts that I chose to leave off this initial list of stocks.

MLPs and crude oil trusts are not stocks and their accounting and financial reporting is sufficiently different that they should be covered separately.

47 Top High-Yielding Stocks With Ex-Dividend Date In October 2013

Monthly high yielding shares researched by long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Close to the end of the month, I would like to highlight some of the best yielding ex-dividend shares for October.

If you are a daily reader of my blog, you would have noticed that I publish regularly lists about ex-dividend stocks. It’s a great information tool for investors who love it to receive dividends. If you purchase a stocks quick before the ex-dividend date, you get a faster cash return but you will not make extra gains with these money because on the ex-date, the stock would also be traded ex-dividend but with yields of about 0.5 percent quarter dividend or so, you will definitely see no big changes because the daily fluctuations are much higher.

However, every month, I create a small list about interesting high yielding stocks with ex-dividend date for the next month. I think it could bring you some values to see what companies pay you cash next month with an attractive equity story.

As result, I found 47 stocks with an average dividend yield of 5.76 percent. Eight stocks have a double-digit yield and additional eight stocks have a high yield below 10 percent but over 5 percent. 21 stocks from the results have a buy or better recommendation.

15 High Yielding Stocks Close To New 52-Week Highs

High Yield Large Caps quite below new 52-Week Highs originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I’m not a momentum trader who seeks the hottest investment opportunities over the short run. I am looking for high quality dividend paying stocks that hike cash payments to shareholders each year and plan to continue this for decades. For sure, there are not many corporate that can manage this need. Only 15 stocks or so have achieved to rise dividends year over year for more than 50 years.

I also look at stocks at new highs. I believe that it’s a good sign when the stock is near all time highs or close to new 52-Week Highs. Something must run well right and investors gift trust to the corporate. You should definitely care about a solid valuation and avoid it to buy stocks with higher P/E’s.

Today I would like to present you some higher capitalized High Yields that are a few percentage points below new 52-Week Highs. It should be possible that these stocks can hit new highs in the near future.

Only fifteen stocks with more than USD 2 billion market capitalization are traded close to new highs and twelve of them got a current buy or better rating by investment firms. Two companies have a double-digit dividend yield.

15 Higher Capitalized Monthly Dividend Paying Stocks

Stocks with monthly dividend payments originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I know that you love it to receive dividends and some of you want dividends on a monthly basis.

I talked about this theme in the past and mentioned that it doesn’t matter how often you will receive the dividend. The good thing is that you get smaller amounts of money earlier that you can use for other investing activities. The bad item is that the more often you get dividends the higher the costs for the company because each transaction will produce costs at banks and service providers.

However, today I would like to introduce some of the 15 biggest companies with a monthly dividend payment. Seven of them yielding over five percent and nine got a buy or better rating from brokerage firms.

Most of the monthly dividends paying stocks have a relation to the financial sector e.g. REITs, Banks or asset management. The second biggest part of the list goes to basic material stocks like gold or oil companies.
