Cheapest Dividend Paying Large Caps As of September 2013

Cheap large capitalized stocks with high growth originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Cheap stocks, bargains or undervalued companies can promise you good returns if you believe that they receive a better valuation within the next months or years. It’s very difficult to discover those stocks because of the hundreds of thousands technical and fundamental measures.

I often used my static ratios like earnings multiples or book ratios to identify cheaply valuated stocks. Today I like to change my recent criteria about cheapest dividend paying large caps a little bit. I tighten the restriction Price-To-Sales to a value of less than one and look at forward P/E’s. In the past, I’ve looked at current earnings multiples.

These are the criteria for my cheapest dividend paying large cap screen:
- Market Capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Expected Earnings per share growth over 10 percent for the next five years
- Forward P/E ratio under 15
- P/S under 1 and P/B ratio under 2
- Positive Dividends

The number of my results rose. Eighteen stocks fulfilled these criteria of which one pays a high yield of more than five percent. Nearly all, fourteen in total, got a buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

David Einhorn's Latest Portfolio Dividend Stock Changes | Greenlight Capital

Latest stock purchases and sales from David Einhorn, Greenlight Capital originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. David Einhorn has around USD 5.3 billion in assets under management in his asset management company Greenlight Capital. Last Quarter he made 28 transactions and bought 7 new stakes. His portfolio has only 30 stock holdings.

In this article I would like to present you the best dividend stocks, bought and sold by David Einhorn. From his nine stock and ETF purchases pay six a dividend. All of the latest dividend buys from David Einhorn yielding between .13 percent and 1.92 percent. David is no long-term dividend player. He wants a quick total return. The most important buys were ING US, Liberty Global and Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF.

On the short side, he reduced or sold out 19 stocks. 15 of them pay a dividend. The biggest impact had Cigna, Seagate Technology and Microsoft with around 3 percent impact to his portfolio.

Apple remains the biggest stock holding bet. The stake has a value of around one billion dollar. The second biggest position of David Einhorn is the car company General Motors which represents around 10.7 percent of his total portfolio. The third biggest company is the technology stock Marvell with a 9.7 percent share. Both are worth over USD 500 million.

17 High Momentum Healthcare Dividend Stocks

Healthcare dividend stocks with highest beta ratios originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. You know that I am a conservative investor and try to minimize my risk.

This strategy is necessary if you have a larger amount of money to take care of or you begin to cry when you lose 10 percent on your book value. The second disadvantage is that you lose performance in a strong up moving market.

Since 2009, there were nearly no bigger corrections at the market but with low beta and safe haven stocks, your performance would be only half of the return from the markets. What you need to get a push for your portfolio is a high beta stock. I don’t recommend buying them because it’s a definitely riskier strategy and nobody knows when the market turns into a bearish mood.

However, let’s take a look at the high fly momentum stocks from the healthcare sector. Those are stocks with the highest beta ratio from the sector. They have a beta between 1 and 2. With focus on the dividend paying stocks, only 17 stocks from the healthcare sector pay a dividend and being correlated with the market by a factor of up to 2.

One High-Yield is below the results and 16 have a current buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

Half-Time Report: The Best Healthcare Dividend Stocks And Which Of Them Are The Cheapest

Healthcare dividend stocks with the highest year-to-date performance originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". We’ve completed the month June and it’s time to report which stocks have risen most within the first six months of the year. It’s ever good to see which stocks are hot in the market and which of them are still cheap valuated.

That’s the main reason why I like to produce an article serial with performance figures of the best performing stocks from several sectors of the financial market.

Today I like to screen the healthcare sector by dividend stocks with the highest stock performance since the beginning of the year.

The 20 most successful companies have realized a performance between 22.01 percent and 73.98 percent. The average capital gain was 36.24 percent. Despite the strong stock price hike, seventeen of them still have a buy or better rating.

David Einhorn’s Best Yielding Dividend Stock Buys

David Einhorn and his highest yielding dividend stock buys originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". On May 15, a full range of professional fund managers released its quarter statements. Today I like to look at the best dividend stock buys of David Einhorn. He is the head of Greenlight Capital and serves around 6.5 billion in assets. In total he has 38 stocks of which six were bought within the recent quarter. Below is a list of his 20 biggest transaction within the recent quarters.

His biggest move was related to Apple. He added the position by 83.45%, a change to his portfolio of 7.37%.

15 of his 20 largest stock buys from the recent quarters are dividend stocks. Apple is his biggest bet with a value above a billion dollar.

20 Cheapest Healthcare Dividend Stocks

Healthcare dividend stocks with low forward P/E ratios originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Wow, the stock market rises from month to month. The negative thing is that stock prices rise faster than the earnings and stocks getting therefore more expensive. This is a development which is still healthy because of the low yielding bond market. But it’s not sustainable if the interest rates rise. Everybody can imagine what happens if the Fed hikes its rates.

So, my major screening focus goes to cheap stocks, stocks with a low price to earnings ratio. Below is a list of the 20 cheapest healthcare dividend stocks with a forward P/E of less than 15. Health care plans companies are currently the cheapest choice in the list. Two High-Yields are part of the results and fifteen companies are recommended to buy.

13 Dividend Growth Potentials With Really Cheap Price Ratios

Stocks with dividend growth potential and cheap price ratios originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". I often publish sheets and lists of dividend growth stocks. Mostly I use Dividend Champions, Achievers or Contender lists. All stocks from the lists have a consecutive dividend growth of more than 10 years.

I ever try to discover the best stocks with the most attractive fundamentals in order to get the best results. But these lists have one big failure: They include also stocks with high debt and low growth. Not enough some of them pay a dividend which is bigger than the earnings per share of the recent quarters.

Those companies are on the edge to cut the dividend payments. If they do so, they would be kicked off the lists and you sit on a low yielding stock and wait for a recovery which could costs you 5 or 10 years to realize a positive return.

I am a dividend growth investor and made most of my money with dividend growth stocks. But if I am honest, the biggest returns I made were with stocks at a lower yield and higher growth. That’s the reason why I always look for stocks with not a perfect dividend growth history but a more attractive debt and growth situation.

Today I like to highlight some dividend potentials, stocks with potential to boost dividends over the next five years or so. My list includes 110 companies and I show you the cheapest stocks measured by a forward P/E ratio of less than 10.

Thirteen companies have such a low P/E ratio of which twelve are currently recommended to buy. This alone shows the quality of my screen compared to the Dividend Champions lists.
