Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of October 2013

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. At the beginning of each month, I screen the market with my best dividend paying stock screening criteria which are listed below.

I believe that it makes sense to observe the market by good valuated long-term growth stocks. For sure many of the results are lucky strikes, companies that have had an extraordinary good financial strength and growth due to a fantastic business environment. But the developments are not sustainable.

But sometimes there are new ideas on my list like Herbalife or recently the weapon maker Sturm & Ruger. Those were corporate stocks in special situations.

The best dividend paying stock list is a small compilation with seven tough investing criteria, summarized below. The list includes each month around 20 to 30 results. It’s a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures. Stocks from that list are mid- and large caps (market capitalization of more than USD 1 billion) with double-digit long-term earnings growth rates. The companies are traded at AMEX, NYSE, NASDAQ and part of the Dow Jones, S&P 500 or Nasdaq Composite. The list is selected by the following criteria and sorted by dividend yield.

My Criteria to find the best dividend stock

Market Capitalization: > 1 Billion
Price/Earnings Ratio: > 0 < 100
Dividend Yield: > 3 < 20
Return on Investment: > 10 < 100
Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

28 companies are part of the best dividend paying stock list for October 2013. The top pick is still Southern Copper, a commodity based stock with a double-digit dividend yield. 8 additional stocks have a dividend yield over 5 percent and fourteen got a buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

10 Top Dogs of the Dow Jones Index - September 2013 List

Dogs of the Dow Jones originally published on “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. The Dogs of the Dow Jones Strategy is a popular investment rule or strategy which is used by many investors. The success is controversial. Some studies say that you can create an outperformance by following this rule; others say you don’t have a benefit from it.

The philosophy behind is to buy ten stocks of the Dow Jones with the highest dividend yield and lowest price to earnings ratio at the beginning of the year and to hold these stocks for a year. After this period, the investor should sell stocks that are no more Dogs of the Dow and buy therefore new Dogs of the Dow. Below is an updated sheet of the ten best Dogs of the Dow. They have the lowest expected price to earnings ratio and highest dividend yield within the Dow Jones index.

Today you can find a full List of the cheapest stocks from the Dow Jones, also named as Dogs of the Dow Jones in the attached list.

Summarized, the 10 cheapest stocks of the Dow Jones have an average dividend yield of 3.53 percent as well as a forward P/E ratio of 12.20. The average P/B ratio amounts to 2.67 and P/S ratio is 2.48.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of September 2013

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. I’m looking for cheap stocks with a solid dividend. That’s my basic premise in stock hunting. In order to get new ideas, I make every month a screen about the best dividend paying stocks on the market.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of July 2013

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment

The recent sell-off on the market made stocks a little bit cheaper but they are not real bargains. Some stocks are still very high valueated and only a few single stocks have become more attractive.

It’s important to own good long-term growth stocks at reasonable prices in order to receive a good investment return. If the company grows further and accelerates its growth, your stake will definitely become larger over the time.

Each month, I create a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of shares with interesting performance and valuation figures.

Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

Exactly thirty companies fulfilled the above mentioned criteria. The top pick is still the commodity stock southern copper with a 12.42 percent yield. Nearly half of the results come from the basic material sector. Technology stocks are the second best investment category. Eighteen of the results have a current buy or better rating.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of June 2013 – 25 Dividend Shares With A Proven History

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. I love it to screen stocks by value and fundamentals. It gives me the possibility to evaluate stocks and compare them by its data. Especially in times of a low interest environment, it’s more important to select cheap dividend paying stocks with a proven history.

I’ve created a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures.

Market Capitalization: > 1 Billion

Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

This time, only 25 companies fulfilled the above mentioned criteria. Eight of the results are High-Yields and seventeen got a buy or better rating from brokerage analysts.

The Best Yielding Stocks From The Dow Jones And NASDAQ | Stock List January 2013

Best Yielding Stocks from Dow Jones and NASDAQ originally published at Dividend Yields – Stock, Capital, Investment. I am not a very focused or specialized investor. The Safest S&P 500 High Yield Dividend Stocks

High Yield Stocks From The S&P 500 With Low Beta Ratio Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. High Yield stocks are interesting because they pay a huge amount of cash to shareholders pocket. If a company has yield over five percent and it pay the money for a decade, you will have received your investment amount by more than a half in cash. The only point we should look at is the stability of the dividend payments.

I screened all S&P 500 high yields by the lowest beta ratio. The beta ratio is a statistical ratio which measures the dependence of the stock in relation to the whole capital market. If the ratio is below one, the company has a lower risk than the market. From all nineteen S&P 500 high yield stocks are fifteen with a beta ratio of less than one but only six are currently recommended to buy. Thirty percent of the results come from the domestic telecom services industry.

The Best Yielding Dividend Aristocrats List

The Best Yielding Dividend Aristocrats List Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. Dividend Aristocrats are stocks that have raised dividends over a period of more than 25 consecutive years and being part of the S&P 500 Dividend Aristocrats Index. The index summarizes 51 large cap, blue chip companies within the S&P 500 that have followed a policy of increasing dividends every year for at least 25 consecutive years.

I screened all Dividend Aristocrats by the best yields. 47 stocks yielding over one percent, 39 exceeding the two percent mark and 17 stocks have a yield over three percent. The index has only three high yields and six companies with a yield over four percent. The low yields are compensated by a higher growth in dividend payments and lower stock volatility. Below are the stocks with a yield over three percent.
