The holy grail of income investing is thus pretty simple – find fundamentally strong companies with sustainable high dividend yields to obtain a steady and predictable stream of money over the long term.

We have discovered seven stocks that bear solid prospects with a minimum market cap of $1 billion and offer a dividend yield of minimum 5%. All these stocks have a steady dividend yield of above 5% in the last five years and a good dividend growth history.

Oversold Dividend Growth Stocks As Buying Opportunity? Check out These 11 Stocks

A lot of people like to “cheer” for higher prices in the short-term. Yet for the long-term net buyer, it’s lower prices that can provide the ultimate benefit.

This allows you to purchase more shares, which creates more income and a greater underlying earnings claim. Personally when I see lower prices, that’s when I tend to get more interested.

It's a first step to discover those stocks that might get cheaper but you need to discover carefully if there is a reason for the cheapness.

Attached you will find a selection of stocks from the dividend growth space that become cheaper over the recent year.

Here are the stocks I'm talking from...

These 15 Low Leveraged Dividend Stocks Paying Yields Over 10%

If you want to get a high dividend, not a large of 5 percent or more, I'm talking about yields far over 10% yearly, you need to take big risks.

Normally, a 10% or more yields is normally a tell-tale sign that a dividend payout is unsustainable. A stock that has a dividend yield in the double digits can be incredibly tempting to an investor. The problem with dividend stocks is that so many of those high yields are eventually cut because the businesses can't continue to support the payout.

That isn't always the case, though. Some companies have monstrously high yields that aren't at much risk of being cut. Attached I've tried to compile a few stocks with a double-digit yields that have fundamental strength to keep paying its investors.

On the market are 276 companies with a current dividend yield over 10%. Mostly high leveraged companies from the energy and real estate sector are under them.

I've put my eyes on those stocks with a market cap over 2 billion and a debt to equity under 1. Exactly 15 companies have such a good ratio.

Here are the results…

8 High-Yields With Attractive Fundamentals And Room To Grow

With interest rates still hovering near multi-decade lows, many investors who need to generate income from their investments have been forced to put money to work in the stock market.

However, with the S&P 500 currently offering up a paltry dividend yield of roughly 2%, investors looking for a higher cash return have been often been forced to invest in riskier stocks. In an effort to help those investors I've compiled a few stock ideas that also offers investors a high dividend yield.

In order to keep the focus on solid fundamentals, I decided to use the following selection criteria:

- Forward P/E under 15

- EPS growth for the next half decade over 5%
- 5 % Dividend Yield
- Debt-to-equity under 1
- Consecutive Dividend Growth Of More Than 5 Years

Here are the results...

20 Buy Rated Dividend Stocks With Yields Over 8%

One group of investors that has had more than their fill of quantitative easing (QE) is income investors, who rely on investments that pay steady and dependable dividends or distributions that help supplement other sources of income.

The whole point of QE was to drive down interest rates to make higher risk assets more attractive.

While that has worked out pretty well for growth stock investors with long time horizons, income and growth and income investors were left with very little to cheer about.

In the early 2000s, large money center banks were offering certificates of deposit, guaranteed for principal up to $250,000, that yielded anywhere from 5% to 7%. Currently that is in the 2%-plus range.

It's sad but we needed to say goodbye to higher yields with low risks. Today we get only low yields with high risk.

Attached you can find 20 stocks with a buy or better rating that offer you a 8% yield or more.

I've only included those stocks with a market cap over 2 billion in order to avoid the really big risks.

Here are my results....

IBM and Intel are the biggest stocks from the tech sector. The highest yielding stocks come from the oil and gas pipeline industry.

Below is a current stock list of dividend stocks (common shares, preferred shares and American Depositary Receipts – ADR’s), paying forthcoming dividends and having their ex-dividend August 03, 2015 – August 09, 2015. The average dividend-yield amounts to 4.32 percent.

5 Buy And Hold Forever Dividend Stocks With Initial Yields Over 3%

Whether you look back to the European debt crisis of 2011 or the mortgage meltdown of 2008, long-term investors with a focus on high-quality stocks are nearly always made whole — and often come out significantly ahead on a total-return basis.

Particularly if you’re at or near retirement and focusing on income, you need to think about where stocks are going to be in a decade or two instead of a month or two.

That’s because hiding out in cash doesn’t give you much to live on, while long-term bond funds may expose you to considerable interest-rate risks.

The answer for many investors, then, is to rely on stable dividend payers that have strong operations that enable them to weather anything the market throws their way and sustain their dividends even during a downturn. Here are five such “forever stocks” I think investors should consider.

Each of the results pay a minimum dividend yield of more than 3 percent. It's important not to count on stocks that start with 1 percent.

Potential Investment Targets Of Warren Buffett - Part III

Warren Buffett sits on big cash that is growing each month. I've started an article serial that discovers potential white elephants which could be potential takeover targets for the big guru investor.

The ideas came from Bloomberg. In my view, they are a little bit abstract and far away from that you might think because they were discovered by strict criteria.

Today you can find additional 5 stocks which could be interesting for the institutional investor from Omaha.

Here you can find the first two articles with the criteria:

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of October 2013

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. At the beginning of each month, I screen the market with my best dividend paying stock screening criteria which are listed below.

I believe that it makes sense to observe the market by good valuated long-term growth stocks. For sure many of the results are lucky strikes, companies that have had an extraordinary good financial strength and growth due to a fantastic business environment. But the developments are not sustainable.

But sometimes there are new ideas on my list like Herbalife or recently the weapon maker Sturm & Ruger. Those were corporate stocks in special situations.

The best dividend paying stock list is a small compilation with seven tough investing criteria, summarized below. The list includes each month around 20 to 30 results. It’s a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures. Stocks from that list are mid- and large caps (market capitalization of more than USD 1 billion) with double-digit long-term earnings growth rates. The companies are traded at AMEX, NYSE, NASDAQ and part of the Dow Jones, S&P 500 or Nasdaq Composite. The list is selected by the following criteria and sorted by dividend yield.

My Criteria to find the best dividend stock

Market Capitalization: > 1 Billion
Price/Earnings Ratio: > 0 < 100
Dividend Yield: > 3 < 20
Return on Investment: > 10 < 100
Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

28 companies are part of the best dividend paying stock list for October 2013. The top pick is still Southern Copper, a commodity based stock with a double-digit dividend yield. 8 additional stocks have a dividend yield over 5 percent and fourteen got a buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

13 High-Yield Large Capitalized Stocks With Buy Recommendation

Stocks with high dividend yields and buy ratings originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Today I would like to give you an update of the higher capitalized stocks with buy ratings by brokerage firms. I personally prefer stocks with lower yields and better growth perspectives because I don’t need high yields to live-off.

Only 13 stocks fulfilled these two criteria but the most of the results have an extraordinary high debt. It’s very risky to buy stocks with large amounts of debt because debt owners got money before share owners. If there should develop some trouble, the dividends must keep flat or needed to reduce.

Stocks from the basic material sector as well as telecoms are the dominating categories. But there are also some good names on the list like Williams Partners or Altria.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of August 2013

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. It’s always good to have stocks with cheap fundamentals and a proven long-term track record.

For sure, a cheap valuation is no guarantee for a great return and the past performance also doesn’t mean that the future will look like the history but you can get a good overview of the current falling angels at the market. Some of them still have a dominating market position like Chevron, China Mobile or AnheuserBush-Inbev.

Each month, I create a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures.

Market Capitalization: > 1 Billion
Price/Earnings Ratio: > 0 < 100
Dividend Yield: > 3 < 20
Return on Investment: > 10 < 100
Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

Southern Copper is still the highest yielding company, followed by BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust and Yanzhou Coal Mining.

All three stocks are commodity players. They have benefitted from the big commodity price boom of the recent years and suffer now under price declines.

81 Stocks With A Higher Dividend Payment

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Dividend growth comes back. Last week, 81 stocks announced a higher dividend payment in the future. Six of them have now a double-digit dividend yield and 38 are low valuated with a forward P/E of less than 15.

It’s good to see that the number of dividend growers have risen within the recent week. It’s a sign that the economy is doing well and companies are more confident about the future.

In average, stocks from the list of the latest dividend growth stocks have increased their dividend payments by 20.73 percent. A value between 5 and 30 is good because your passive income grows faster than the inflation. A too high dividend growth ratio shows that there is something wrong. If not, they have paid very low dividends in the past and let the dividend jump. The most important thing you need to remember is that you receive dividends that are not paid from the substance of the corporate. It means that dividends should be significant lower than the earnings or the corporate. Special dividends are all right but they are only one-time items.

Williams Partners (WPZ) Hiked Dividends By 1.77% And 7 Others Followed

Yesterday was a good day in terms of dividend growth. Eight companies raised their dividend payments. The biggest stock was the specialty chemical company Williams Partners. WPZ announced a 1.76 percent dividend hike and yields at 6.67 percent. The company has a rosy future. Analysts are expecting earnings per share to grow by at least 12 percent over the next five years. Only the high debt to equity ratio of 4.20 gives investors a bad taste.

Seven of eight companies with dividend growth on the last trading day have a market capitalization of more than USD 1 billion. Oil and gas companies are the most represented stocks.

The highest yielding stock is the drilling and explorations company Legacy Reserves with a 8.22 percent dividend yield. LGCY raised its quarterly dividends by 0.87 percent, yesterday.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of July 2013

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment

The recent sell-off on the market made stocks a little bit cheaper but they are not real bargains. Some stocks are still very high valueated and only a few single stocks have become more attractive.

It’s important to own good long-term growth stocks at reasonable prices in order to receive a good investment return. If the company grows further and accelerates its growth, your stake will definitely become larger over the time.

Each month, I create a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of shares with interesting performance and valuation figures.

Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

Exactly thirty companies fulfilled the above mentioned criteria. The top pick is still the commodity stock southern copper with a 12.42 percent yield. Nearly half of the results come from the basic material sector. Technology stocks are the second best investment category. Eighteen of the results have a current buy or better rating.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of June 2013 – 25 Dividend Shares With A Proven History

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. I love it to screen stocks by value and fundamentals. It gives me the possibility to evaluate stocks and compare them by its data. Especially in times of a low interest environment, it’s more important to select cheap dividend paying stocks with a proven history.

I’ve created a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures.

Operating Margin: > 10 < 100
10 Year Revenue Growth: > 8 < 200
10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

This time, only 25 companies fulfilled the above mentioned criteria. Eight of the results are High-Yields and seventeen got a buy or better rating from brokerage analysts.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List As Of May 2013 – 26 Most Impressive Dividend Growth Stocks

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, Investment. On the first day of each month, I create a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures. Stocks from that list are mid- and large caps (market capitalization of more than USD 1 billion) with double-digit long-term earnings growth rates. 10 Year EPS Growth: > 10 < 100

The reason behind is to find some attractive valuated companies with a strong market position and pricing power. Some of the results are distorted because they had an extraordinary good economic situation in the past. I’m talking about basic material stocks. Within the recent years, underlying prices for commodities increased very strongly because of China’s hunger for raw material. As a result, earnings as well as margins of mining companies exploded. The second most represented sector from the screen is the technology sector. 26 companies fulfilled the above mentioned criteria; 17 of them are currently recommended to buy.

89 Stocks Boosted Their Dividends To New Levels

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. The overall dividend growth continued and ended in an old strength last week.

In total 89 stocks increased their dividend payments of which 30 are High-Yields and 54 are currently recommended to buy. The average dividend growth amounts to 21.05 percent.

Yields come down as a result of the strong stock price gains. The current hikes don’t change the situation because they grow much lower compared to the valuation. Quality dividend stocks getting rare and better priced. That’s my main recognition over the recent months.

Best Dividend Paying Stock List | 27 Big Income Growers

Best Dividend Paying Stock Lists By Dividend Yield – Stock, Capital, InvestmentGrowth solves many problems but it could also create some when its not productive.

Within the investment scene, growth is a wonderful item for wealth creating. I personally like growth stocks especially when they pay good dividends and the board let grow them too. But growth is not an easy solution. A company creates only values, if it grows with a higher profitability: When the return on investments are high enough, shareholders will benefit from the company’s successful expansion too.

On the first day of each month I create a quick dividend list (from low-yield to high-yield paying stocks) of stocks with interesting performance and valuation figures. Stocks from that list are mid- and large caps (market capitalization of more than USD 1 billion) with double-digit long-term earnings growth rates. 19 High Yielding Income Growth Stocks With Low Debt Ratios

High-Yield dividend growth stocks with low debt originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". I often tell that growth and income growth are two major items in wealth creating.

Another criterion is the debt level. A company with an indebtedness has much more possibilities to grow or to create something special. Companies with a huge debt load must create management teams to handle this debt and look for new finance rounds.

I love it when stocks have a low debt to equity ratio. But it’s only an additional stone in the wall of corporate finance and valuation.

Today I like to highlight the highest dividend paying stocks (over five percent dividend yield) with more than five years of consecutive dividend growth and a debt to equity ratio of less than one. The ratio is not really low but it’s ok for a higher yielding company in my view. What matters in this area is the expected growth. Growth destroys debt. A growing income makes it easier to pay back the loans.

Nineteen companies fulfilled these criteria of which seven have a buy or better rating. Oil and gas pipeline stocks and drilling companies are the dominating industries in this screen.
