100 Stocks At All-Time-Highs

List of stocks at All-Time-Highs originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". We are still in a bull market and have seen a small correction since 5/21. The trend is still intact which could be also checked by the number of stocks at All-Time-Highs. They came back recently to a big number.

Below is a list of the 100 best performing stocks at All-Time-Highs. The biggest players on the list are 3M, Danaher, Precision Castparts or Illinois Tool Works. Half of the results pay dividends and 81 have a current buy or better rating.

It’s good to see how fast some stocks recover, a very healthy sign from the market. But the risk increases with every percentage point. You need to take care about the valuation of the stocks. Only 18 percent of the top 100 companies at All-Time-Highs are valuated with a P/E below 15.

22 Dividend Boosters From Last Week

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. 13 stocks and 9 funds announced a dividend hike within the recent week. The number of dividend growers remains weak.

The biggest names on the list are United Health and Lowe’s as well as Fedex. In addition, five companies cut dividends and one announced a special initial dividend.

I know it’s hard to manage dividend growth especially when the company is acting within a very cyclic industry. But dividend growth is an expression to shareholders about the company’s success and the willingness to share profits with the ownership of the company.

10 of the 13 stocks are currently recommended to buy.

20 Technology Dividend Stocks, Most Shorted By Investors

Technology dividend stocks with the highest float short ratio originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Activists often sell stocks short. In the second step, they try to scary other investors in order to get the stock price down and to make some profits.

Today I like to show you which of the technology stocks have the highest float short ratio. The ratio shows you how many shares have been sold short. It’s ever interesting to see which companies have some problems and investors like to speculate on a falling stock price. The higher the ratio is, the bigger the problems of the company.

These are my criteria:
- Positive Dividend Yield
- Technology Sector Relationship
- Float Short Ratio over 5 percent
- Market Capitalization above 2 Billion

20 technology dividend stocks have fulfilled these criteria. I recognized that technology stocks with a high float short are also highly priced but I don’t think that it’s the only reason for the short sale. Companies like Nokia have a tough fight to compete with companies like Apple or Samsung within the smart phone market. The market speculates that Nokia will fail to gain market shares.
