19 Cheap High-Yield Opportunities From The Financial Sector
Financial stocks can offer great opportunities for dividend investors. Financials will benefit from rising interest rate expectations and a steeper yield curve.
The sector offers the least expensive valuation of any sector in the S&P 500, trading at a mere 13.5 price/earnings multiple. Financials also benefit from positive loan growth, which should occur this year.
In addition, it is the sector that has the most sensitivity to higher interest rates. While multiples have increased for most of these stocks since the election, many are trading at a substantial discount to the market. Deregulation could create potential earnings per share upside for the entire sector.
Here are my results...

20 Financials With The Highest YTD-Performance And Which Are The Cheapest Stocks
Financial dividend stocks with highest
performance year-to-date originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Today I would like to
discover the financial sector by the best performing dividend stocks. Financial
companies are in focus of main street investors.
We live in a span of a financial bubble and
financial services stocks, banks as well as insurer are the main provider for
the financial system. Not all of them benefited from the money easing by the
fed but in some cases you can see a definitely increase in the company’s balance
sheet. The risks rose and yields went down over the recent years. Today, we need
much more money to receive the same capital income as 10 years before.
I personally do not own banks or insurer. I
still have no opinion or idea about how they could reduce their risk exposure
in the financial market. They are real black boxes for me.
However, the 20 best performing financial dividend stocks with a market capitalization over USD 300 million gained 54.50
percent to 97.22 percent since the beginning of the year. Nine of the results
still have a buy or better recommendation.
18 Stocks With Very High Yields (+10%) And Earnings Growth
+10% yielding shares with strong earnings per
share growth originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com" Some of my friends
search regular for stocks with very high yield. I don’t talk about high-yields,
stocks with yields between 5-10 percent. I mean stocks with annualized dividend
yields of more than 10 percent.
It sounds a bit unserious and I personally would
never buy such stocks but I can understand my friends because they have only a low
net worth and they try to boost their passive income from dividends.
Let me say one thing: It could not sustainable
for any kind of business to pay such a high amount of money to shareholders at
a normal valuation. Something must be wrong. But if find an attractive investment,
you can boost your dividend income and in ten years your investment paid-off.
Out there are 148 stocks with a yield over 10
percent. I’ve tried to figure out some interesting stocks.
These are my criteria:
- Dividend Yield above 10%
- Earnings per share growth for the next 5Y over
5%
- Market Capitalization over 300 million
Eighteen shares fulfilled these criteria. Seven
of them have a current buy or better recommendation.
17 Oversold High-Yields With Growing Business
Oversold High-Yields With Growing Earning Per Share Researched By “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Stocks with a massive amount
of sellers could fall very deep in a short period of time. Sometimes, the market
overreacts and companies are traded at very low prices.
I screened the capital market
by high-yields with positive earnings per share growth and signals to be oversold.
A good indicator to measure the degree of oversold is the relative strength index
(RSI). The RSI ranges from 0 to 100. An asset is deemed to be overbought once
the RSI approaches the 70. If the RSI approaches 30, it is an indication that
the asset may be getting oversold and therefore likely to become undervalued.
I listed all stocks with a RSI of less than 40. In order to exclude the
risks of low capitalized companies, I decided to screen only such stocks with a market
capitalization above USD 300 million. Seventeen companies remained of which seven
have a double-digit yield and six a buy or better recommendation.
15 Stocks With Double-Digit Yields And Double-Digit Growth
Best Growing Stocks With Double-Digit Yields Researched By “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Stocks with very high
yields (over ten percent) are very good for investors with small money and high
need for dividend income. The risks for dividend cuts are also very high within
this investment class. One important item for a stable dividend is the income growth
over the mid-term.
I screened stocks with double-digit yields and growth rates of more than
10 percent in earnings per share for the upcoming five years. Fifteen stocks remained
of which nine are currently recommended to buy.
10% Yielding Dividend Stocks With Strongest Expected Earnings Growth
Stocks With Very High Yields And Fastest Earnings Per Share Growth Researched By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. 134 stocks and funds are listed at the capital markets with dividend yields over ten percent and 84 of them are classical equity investments. Stocks with very high yields are interesting because of the high quarter cash payments you could receive but they are also very dangerous and should be treated with a special attention.
In order to find some great opportunities, I screened all 10 percent yielding stocks with earnings per share growth of more than 10 percent yearly for the upcoming five years. Fifteen stocks remained of which ten are currently recommended to buy.
