20 Cheapest Large Cap Stocks With Fat Dividends And Low Debt Ratios

Blue chip stocks are established large-cap businesses that pay reliable dividends. They have long corporate histories and provide well-known products and/or services.

De-risk your portfolio with undervalued dividend payers that you can watch grow inside of your portfolio. With the market pulling back again, now is a great time to start adding shares while they’re cheap.

There are a number of stocks that have taken a beating of late, and that’s created some great buying opportunities. There are close to 350 stocks that pay a 2% plus dividend yield and are down 10% in 2016.

However, not all of these dividends are actually “cheap” from a valuation perspective, nor do all have the balance sheets or cash flows to support their dividends.

The key is to be prudent.

Attached you will see a list of the 20 cheapest dividend paying large cap stocks by forward price to earnings ratio. I've only listed those with a market cap over 10 billion with a debt to equity ratio below one. Those are two very essential restrictions to my screen.

As might see, there is a good mix of all sectors: Financials, Industrials, Services, Technology, Healthcare and Utilites.

These are the 20 cheapest dividend paying large caps by forward P/E ratio...

14 Cheap Large Cap Dividend Stocks You Should Know!

If you like to make money with stocks as long-term investor and you don't want to overpay a company, you must keep an eye on dividend stocks with acceptable P/E, P/B and P/S ratios.

Value investors often use these criteria in order to find cheap stocks.

They also hope that the market will recognize those undervalued asset and buy them until the price reaches the intrinsic value.

Today I like to share a screen of cheap large caps with you. Here are my criteria:

- Positive Dividend Yield

- 5-Year Forward EPS Growth Over 10% Yearly
- Low Forward P/E (Under 15)
- Price To Book Under 2
- Price To Sales Under 1

Fourteen stocks fulfilled the criteria of which two are high-yield stocks. My favorites are Ford, GM, Energy Transfer and CRH. Which stocks do you like?

These are the results from the research...

Cheapest Dividend Paying Large Caps As of October 2013

Cheap large capitalized stocks with high growth originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. I always look for stocks with a cheap valuation and modest growth perspectives.

While the interest environment is low, the market valuation is extraordinary high and it’s more important to take care about a solid price in order to ensure not to overpay a stocks.

Each month I create a quick list that allows me to observe the market by the cheapest growth picks. You can find my criteria below.

These are the criteria for my cheapest dividend paying large cap screen:
- Market Capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Expected Earnings per share growth over 10 percent for the next five years
- Forward P/E ratio under 15
- P/S under 1 and P/B ratio under 2
- Positive Dividends

Only fourteen stocks fulfilled these criteria of which twelve have a current buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

15 High Yields With The Lowest Dividend Payout Ratios

High Yields with dividend payouts of less than 50 percent and room to boost future dividends originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. If you have only small amounts of money available for investing, you need a higher yield. I do know this problem but I always remember that higher dividend yields are also equally with a higher risk.

Today I would like to screen all higher yielding stocks with a dividend yield over 5 percent and a market capitalization above the 2 billion mark by its payout ratios. I’m hunting for opportunities that pay less than 50 percent of its earnings. I believe that there should be more room for a small dividend hike if earnings are not cyclic and grow over the time.

Fifteen high yielding stocks fulfilled these criteria of which eleven are currently recommended to buy.

13 High-Yield Large Capitalized Stocks With Buy Recommendation

Stocks with high dividend yields and buy ratings originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Today I would like to give you an update of the higher capitalized stocks with buy ratings by brokerage firms. I personally prefer stocks with lower yields and better growth perspectives because I don’t need high yields to live-off.

Only 13 stocks fulfilled these two criteria but the most of the results have an extraordinary high debt. It’s very risky to buy stocks with large amounts of debt because debt owners got money before share owners. If there should develop some trouble, the dividends must keep flat or needed to reduce.

Stocks from the basic material sector as well as telecoms are the dominating categories. But there are also some good names on the list like Williams Partners or Altria.

Cheapest Dividend Paying Large Caps As of September 2013

Cheap large capitalized stocks with high growth originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. Cheap stocks, bargains or undervalued companies can promise you good returns if you believe that they receive a better valuation within the next months or years. It’s very difficult to discover those stocks because of the hundreds of thousands technical and fundamental measures.

I often used my static ratios like earnings multiples or book ratios to identify cheaply valuated stocks. Today I like to change my recent criteria about cheapest dividend paying large caps a little bit. I tighten the restriction Price-To-Sales to a value of less than one and look at forward P/E’s. In the past, I’ve looked at current earnings multiples.

These are the criteria for my cheapest dividend paying large cap screen:
- Market Capitalization over USD 10 billion
- Expected Earnings per share growth over 10 percent for the next five years
- Forward P/E ratio under 15
- P/S under 1 and P/B ratio under 2
- Positive Dividends

The number of my results rose. Eighteen stocks fulfilled these criteria of which one pays a high yield of more than five percent. Nearly all, fourteen in total, got a buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

19 Consumer Dividend Stocks With Highest Sector Growth

Consumer dividend stocks with highest expected growth originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". Growth, that’s the most important factor when you trade stocks and like to make money over the long-run.

Growth is a must have but with rising growth rates, price ratios also go up. You should be careful with stocks that have a P/E ratio over 20 and a huge load of debt.

Today, I like to screen stocks from the consumer goods sector, one of my favorite investment fields. 2/3 of my personal stock holdings have a relation to the consumer area. I love those stocks especially when they are well managed and pay great dividends.

Consumer stocks are normally characterized by low cyclic stocks which produce solid returns on the invested capital. My screening criteria are:

- Positive Dividend Yield
- Market Capitalization over 10 billion
- Relationship to the Consumer Goods Sector
- EPS Growth over 10 Percent for the next 5 Years

Nineteen stocks matched my criteria of which fifteen have a current buy or better ratio. Car maker and supplier of them are dominating the results. Those are also stocks with the highest beta ratios.

However, 396 stocks are available for trading with a relation to the consumer sector. 185 of them pay dividends and 123 have a current buy or better rating. Below is a small list of the 20 higher capitalized companies (over USD 2 billion) with the highest buy rating. Cheapest Large Cap Stock List | 13 Hot Growth Picks

Cheapest large capitalized stocks with highest earnings per share growth; originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com. A cheap stock is the basis for every future returns. Beside cheap fundamentals and pricing ratios of a company, the expected growth is an additional important item for investors. After the ongoing turbulences due to the euro debt crises and the fiscal cliff in America, there should be some bargains in relation to growth right now.

I made a screen of America’s cheapest large capitalized stocks with highest expected growth for the upcoming fiscal year. Stocks from the sheet have a market capitalization of more than USD 10 billion and earnings per share are expected to grow for at least 15 percent. Despite the strong growth, they still have a P/E ratio of less than 15 and a P/S and P/B ratio of less than two. Fourteen companies fulfilled the mentioned criteria of which thirteen companies have a buy or better recommendation. Eleven of the results pay dividends.

The highest yielding stock is now China Petroleum & Chemical. The company yields at 4.39 percent but long-term earnings are expected to fall by around one percent for the next five years. The best picks by mid-term growth are Mitsui and Honda.

The Best Consumer Goods Stocks To Buy | 10 Cheap Dividend Stocks

The Best Yielding Consumer Goods Shares With Low P/E ratio Originally Published At “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. I personally like consumer goods stocks because they have a deep relationship to the customer, directly and not indirect. My most favorite stocks produce daily goods like food or toothpaste maybe beauty or health products. They are well diversified and generate ideally more than 50 percent of their revenues outside the United States. I think about companies like Procter and Gamble or ColgatePalmolive. Other stocks are PepsiCo and Coca Cola. They all raised dividends over a very long period and helped to boost my dividend income. Let’s take a look into the sector and hunt for some bargains.

I screened the sector by the best yielding stocks with a low P/E ratio (value of less than 15). As result, ten stocks remain of which two are high-yields and seven are recommended to buy. The dominant industry in the screen is the auto manufacturing industry. The market sees a high profit slowdown. For the time being, earnings growth rate for those auto stocks are still attractive. But the time will change. Also remarkable is the high debt ratios of the car stocks. I personally don’t like those companies and wouldn’t recommend them to buy.
