10 Bargain Picks For The Retail Sector

I've identified ten companies that sold off in the last year and are trading at least 20% below 52-week highs.

These companies all have track records of consistent earnings growth, and I think operate in sectors that can resist takeover by Amazon. Here are the selections:

The Best Consumer Defensive Stocks Now!

Consumer defensive stocks can add some stability to a portfolio, as they tend to hold up relatively well during downturns while also participating in rising markets.

The sector's relatively sleepy return over the past year led me to wonder if there are any high-quality bargains there. To find competitively advantaged stocks in the sector, I screened all the stocks from the sector and included those with attractive equity story, valuation, and growth figures.

Below are some highlights from our research reports of the companies.

10 Dividend Stocks For A Rate Rise

Recent economic data could cause the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates. When this will happen is anybody's guess.

When it does happens, however, stocks with big valuations could see a lot more volatility.

In building a portfolio or planning for retirement, we need to be ready. Here are some options.

This group of safe dividend stocks won't necessarily impress you with their dividend yields, but they offer attractive value. The key is their low payout ratios and rapid dividend growth.

If and when interest rates increase, these 10 dividend stocks could be a reasonably safe place to be.

Here are the results....

12 Dividend Stocks To Buy And Hold For The Next 20 Years

According to legendary investor Warren Buffett, the best holding period is forever. While most investors may not have quite that long of a time horizon, the key to successful investing is buying high-quality stocks at reasonable prices and holding them for a very long time. With that in mind, I come up with some ideas for stocks that can be safely held for the next 20 years.

You might agree with me or not but growth is more important for this issue. Only a stocks with solid growth perspectives could give you a price appreciation.

That's also the reason why I'm looking for stocks with growth. My second criteria are profitability. Only a company that scales it's money making machine could create values, not a stock that wides losses. That's easily to understand.

Attached you find my 12 favorite dividend paying growth stocks. Which do you like from the list?

Here are the results...

11 Stocks That Make Private Investors To Millionaires And Pay Dividends

Long-term buy-and-hold stock investments can make investors rich. All you need is to be disciplined, have patience and a bit of luck.

The trick to making big money is to pick stocks that grow earnings and dividends year after year and be patient. For sure not every stock created million out of 10 thousand bucks but the possibility is much higher than betting or gambling.

The good thing by investing money into quality stocks is that you could receive a good return. It means that you keep your money alive if you don't have a ten bagger.

Today I like to show you those stocks that make normal investors to millionaires over decades. That's a pretty amazing strategy. Buy and hold stocks and get paid off while you have done nothing.

At the bottom of this article is a table of 13 stocks each of which turned a $10,000 investment into millions of dollars.

These are the dividend paying results...

13 Stocks With Dividend Growth In The Past Week

13 companies raised their dividends during the recent week. Dividend is so important for investors who like to grow their investments.

Below is a full list of all stocks that have raised their dividend payments within the past week. Five of the firms have a current yield of more than 3 percent.

Kroger, DTE Energy, Matson, Disney and Worthington Industries were the biggest stocks, all with a market capitalization above the one billion Mark.

Disney is for me the most impressive stocks. It has grown more to a merchandise company and licensing business than to an entertainment company, which is in general good.

I've missed the chance to buy the stock. I still believe that the current prices are too high but they truly reflect the strong growth which did not disappoint. Maybe I get some shares within the next market correction.

These are the latest dividend growers, sorted by yield....

16 Stocks Hiked Dividends In The Past Week

What a Week! Scotland vote no and belong further to the United Kingdom but more important to me were the dividend growth announcements of the week which I cover.

I love dividend growth stocks and made a significant amount of money with them as a long-term orientated investor. My strategy is somewhat between growth and value. I’m a fan of Warren Buffett but I have my own experience and strategy.

Within the past week, sixteen stocks hiked dividends. Big names like Microsoft and McDonalds are part of the list.

Below is a small overview of my favorites by biggest market capitalization. At the end of this article, you will also find a full list of all dividend grower and buyback announcements.

Dividend growth and share buybacks are two essential ways to give shareholders directly and indirect more money into their pocket.

It also show in most cases that the firm is doing well and like to share their success with the owner of the company.

24 Stocks With Fresh Dividend Hikes

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at long-term-investments.blogspot.com. 24 companies increased its dividends within the recent week. Compared to 15 stocks from the previous week, it’s a small improvement but not the big numbers of 50 or more. The average dividend growth amounts to 32.07 percent.

Several recent dividend growth stocks have a market capitalization over $10 billion. Those are big names like McDonald’s, or Microsoft. The technology and software giant also announced to buy back $40 billion in own shares. That’s around 14 percent of the current market value.

I’ve attached a list for you of all dividend growers from the past week. You can also find there a list of the current valuations of the stocks. Half of the results still have a low forward P/E below 15 and eleven received a buy or better rating by brokerage firms.

20 Of The Safest Dividend Challengers On The Market

Dividend Challengers with lowest beta ratios originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". I love high-quality dividend growth stocks and the stocks with the longest history of consecutive payments are definitely Dividend Kings and Dividend Champions. But the big disadvantage of them is that they are also highly priced.

You cannot make a greater return with stocks that have a P/E ratio of 22 and grows only at 5 percent. You need real bargains to make big profit with your asset.

This problem can be solved when you look into the dividend potentials. Those stocks haven’t yet reached a longer dividend payment history but they can become a great Dividend Champion within the next years. The price ratios are also lower for some companies and you have a better choice to find good investments because out there are around 160 stocks with five or more years of consecutive dividend payments and 207 with a payment between 10 to 25 years.

Today I like to screen the third class of dividend growth stocks by the safest alternatives. The 20 safest dividend growth stocks have a beta ratio between 0.18 and 0.55. All three top picks come from the oil & gas pipeline industry, a branch with very stable sales and future growth perspectives due to the shale gas boom in the United States.

From the 20 safest Dividend Challengers have nine a current buy or better rating.

100 Stocks At All-Time-Highs

List of stocks at All-Time-Highs originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". We are still in a bull market and have seen a small correction since 5/21. The trend is still intact which could be also checked by the number of stocks at All-Time-Highs. They came back recently to a big number.

Below is a list of the 100 best performing stocks at All-Time-Highs. The biggest players on the list are 3M, Danaher, Precision Castparts or Illinois Tool Works. Half of the results pay dividends and 81 have a current buy or better rating.

It’s good to see how fast some stocks recover, a very healthy sign from the market. But the risk increases with every percentage point. You need to take care about the valuation of the stocks. Only 18 percent of the top 100 companies at All-Time-Highs are valuated with a P/E below 15.

Ex-Dividend Stocks: Best Dividend Paying Shares On May 13, 2013

The best yielding and biggest ex-dividend stocks researched by ”long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. Dividend Investors should have a quiet overview of stocks with upcoming ex dividend dates.

The ex dividend date is the final date on which the new stock buyer couldn’t receive the next dividend. If you like to receive the dividend, you need to buy the stock before the ex dividend date. I made a little screen of the best yielding stocks with a higher capitalization that have their ex date on the next trading day.

A full list of all stocks with payment dates can be found here: Ex-Dividend Stocks May 13, 2013. In total, 61 stocks and preferred shares go ex dividend - of which 26 yield more than 3 percent. The average yield amounts to 4.70%.
