Dividend Yield Analysis Of The S&P 500 As Of July 2011

Dividend Yield List S&P 500 By Dividend Yield - Stock, Capital, Investment. The S&P 500 index is a popular used tool by investors. Professionals like big insurance player allocate their portfolio weighting on the Dow Jones Index and Standard&Poors 500. The S&P 500 is a free-float capitalization-weighted index published since 1957 by Standard & Poor's, a division of McGraw-Hill Companies. I screened the index with its 500 companies by dividends. Stocks With Fast Dividend And Free Cash Flow Growth

6 Stocks Seeing Rapid Growth in Dividends and Free Cash Flows By Kapitall. Cash flow analysis is very important when considering a stock for its dividends. Because free cash flow is the first and most sustainable source for dividend payments, healthy cash flows indicate that a company’s dividend is more sustainable.

We ran a screen with this idea in mind, searching for dividend stocks that have seen fast growth in free operating cash flows over the last five years (measured with compound annual growth rate). We then screened for stocks seeing high growth in their dividend, comparing the current year dividend per share estimate to the trailing-twelve-month dividend per share.

Here are the results:

1. CNOOC Ltd. (CEO)
Dividend yield at 2.11%

2. International Paper Co. (IP)
Dividend yield at 2.43%

3. KKR Financial Holdings LLC (KFN)

4. MKS Instruments Inc. (MKSI)

5 International Bank Shares With Fat Dividends

5 International Banks With Big Fat Dividends By Fool. People invest in small and mid-cap stocks primarily because they offer more share and dividend growth potential than their bigger counterparts do. However, in terms of stability, bigger banks usually have a clear-cut edge over smaller ones, in part because they have a better chance of getting bailed out during difficult times. American banking giants such as JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) and Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) were bailed out during the financial crisis, and they're now back on track and reporting impressive earnings. Meanwhile, the number of small and regional U.S. banks appearing on the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.'s list of "problem banks" far exceeded the number of large banks.

Let's look at five big banks that offer both income and stability, as well as a chance to help guard your portfolio against unforeseen instability in the domestic markets.

Here are the results:

Banco Santander (NYSE:STD)
Annual dividend yield of 5.50%

HSBC (NYSE:HBC)
Annual dividend yield of 2.90%

Royal Bank of Canada (NYSE:RY)
Annual dividend yield stands at 3.50%

Bank of Nova Scotia (NYSE:BNS)
Annual dividend yield of 3.40%

Toronto-Dominion Bank (NYSE:TD)
Annual dividend yield of 3.10%
