19 Cheap High-Yield Opportunities From The Financial Sector

Financial stocks can offer great opportunities for dividend investors. Financials will benefit from rising interest rate expectations and a steeper yield curve.

The sector offers the least expensive valuation of any sector in the S&P 500, trading at a mere 13.5 price/earnings multiple. Financials also benefit from positive loan growth, which should occur this year.

In addition, it is the sector that has the most sensitivity to higher interest rates. While multiples have increased for most of these stocks since the election, many are trading at a substantial discount to the market. Deregulation could create potential earnings per share upside for the entire sector.

Here are my results...

20 High-Yield Stocks With Low Beta Ratios

The market’s had its ups and downs this year, but there is sure to be more volatility ahead of us in 2017. There is a lot of speculation over the health of the global economy. Will China keep falling behind growth expectations? Will the high market valuation cause a short-term sell off?

As long as the market has big questions with no concrete answers, there is sure to be more volatility ahead of us. When the global environment is uncertain, it is wise to reduce your market exposure by picking up some low beta stocks. Stocks with a low beta tend to see a lower magnitude of price changes compared to the broader market.

The secret sauce behind high performance is low volatility. Stock portfolios built with low beta stocks tend to outperform high-beta growth stocks. And you sleep at night without having to worry about big swings in the market.

It is foolish to assume that taking on more risk will produce higher returns. We all want the sure thing in business with no risk, but this is nearly impossible to find. But it possible to find low-beta stocks with steadily rising dividends or high dividends. I've done some research in order to find the best high-yield dividend stocks with low beta ratios.

These 20 stocks have high yields at low beta ratios...

5 Income Investing Crown Picks

The holy grail of income investing is thus pretty simple – find fundamentally strong companies with sustainable high dividend yields to obtain a steady and predictable stream of money over the long term.

We have discovered seven stocks that bear solid prospects with a minimum market cap of $1 billion and offer a dividend yield of minimum 5%. All these stocks have a steady dividend yield of above 5% in the last five years and a good dividend growth history.

20 Cheap Dividend Challenger Dogs With Yields Up To 11.79%

If income is your investment objective, the deck is stacked against you, as interest rates remain velcroed to record lows. But there are attractive dividend stocks out there, provided you can commit for the long run.

The Dividend Growth stocks from 5 to 50 years of consecutive dividend growth are the most popular stocks within the long-term income asset class.

I often write about stocks with a longer investment period and one basic approach is to look at the past performance of a business in order to develop future prospects of the firm.

I believe that a good past performance tells us something about the quality of the business, the market barriers, brands and consumer loyalty. It also tells us something about volume products and the art of business, the magic formula about selling a product.

Today I like to introduce some of the highest yielding stocks with cheap price mutiples from the Dividend Challengers list. Each of the stocks has increased dividends by more than 5 years in a row.

20 Cheapest High-Yield Dividend Challengers

Today's screen is focused on high yields and low P/E within the Dividend Challengers space. Those stocks managed to raise dividends by more than 5 years in a row.

Challengers jumped over the first level of dividend growth barriers. One day they could become a Dividend Contender, Achiever, Champion, Aristocrat or even a Dividend King.

Most Challengers have in common that they could fail to raise dividends in the future. There are more cyclic stocks on the list. The top yielding results com the credit services, REIT and oil and gas sector.

My favorites are GMLP, SSW, STX, WDR, SSI, and SAFT. Which stocks do you like from the screen? Please let me know some of your thoughts by leaving a comment. Here are the 20 cheapest high-yield Dividend Challengers….

16 High-Yield Dividend Growth Stocks Good Enough To Buy

There are lots of stocks on the market that pay high dividends. For example, you can easily find mortgage REITs, shipping stocks or business development companies with yields of 10% or more.

Just because a stock pays a high dividend doesn't necessarily make it a good long-term investment. But it could make sense to put small amounts of money into high yielding stocks in order to boost your dividend income.

Attached you will find a compilation of stocks with high-yields that might boost your portfolio cash income in the futre. I hope you will find some new ideas on the list. Do you like any of them or do you still own a few of the selected stocks?

Here are a few great long-term investments with yields above 5%...

10 Highly Profitable, High-Yield And Growth Orientated Stocks You Should Know

Right now there are roughly 1,400 companies in the U.S. that pay regular cash dividends, and they pay out in total about $410 billion.

The dividends are in effect the vegetables. They’re the nutrients underneath the stock market that allow it to grow over time. Over long periods, that American dividend stream has grown at roughly 5.5% per year.

Over the last five years dividends in the S&P 500 have compounded about 13% per year. That’s in a period where the S&P 500 returned 14.5% per year. So the lion’s share of the equity return was driven by aggregate dividend growth.

Dividends are important but growth too. The optimal way to invest is to mix growth with dividends. Secondly, a corporate should grow at highly profitable rates. It does not make sense to scale a money loosing system to get poor.

Attached you will find 10 highly profitable growth orientated stocks that might deliver solid returns in the future.

20 Buy Rated Dividend Stocks With Yields Over 8%

One group of investors that has had more than their fill of quantitative easing (QE) is income investors, who rely on investments that pay steady and dependable dividends or distributions that help supplement other sources of income.

The whole point of QE was to drive down interest rates to make higher risk assets more attractive.

While that has worked out pretty well for growth stock investors with long time horizons, income and growth and income investors were left with very little to cheer about.

In the early 2000s, large money center banks were offering certificates of deposit, guaranteed for principal up to $250,000, that yielded anywhere from 5% to 7%. Currently that is in the 2%-plus range.

It's sad but we needed to say goodbye to higher yields with low risks. Today we get only low yields with high risk.

Attached you can find 20 stocks with a buy or better rating that offer you a 8% yield or more.

I've only included those stocks with a market cap over 2 billion in order to avoid the really big risks.

Here are my results....

51 Shares With A Rising Dividend, Announced Last Week

Stocks with dividend hikes from last week originally published at “long-term-investments.blogspot.com”. I’ve created a screen for my dividend yield hunters about the stocks with a dividend hike from last week. The list shows a full compilation of all dividend growers of the recent week. 51 companies are on the list and eleven of them have a high yield; 35 are currently recommended to buy.

The average growth slows a bit and hits some of the lowest levels this year. The average dividend growth last week was at 16.65 percent.

9 High-Yield Stocks With Strong Buy Rating

High yielding dividend paying stocks with strongest buy rating originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". I'm often asked if I would recommend to buy high-yielding stocks. I answer them that it makes sense to buy stocks with a yield over five percent but don’t expect that they will pay the dividend to the end of your lifetime and don’t expect that they will hike their payments each year or with a higher growth rate.

I personally bought several high yielding stocks around the world and nearly each investment was a disaster. Sure I also made some profits with stocks from the tobacco industry but they were the only investment ideas that worked for me. If I draw a line and make a calculation about my High-Yield activities, it would result in a very bad performance. That is my personal experience with the investment category.

Stocks with a higher yield are risky but it makes sense to look for them. Today I like to discover the most recommended High-Yields with a market capitalization over USD 300 million. Nine companies with a yield over 5 percent have a strong buy rating.

20 Highly Recommended Financial Dividend Shares | Stock Buy List

Financial dividend stocks with highest buy recommendation originally published at "long-term-investments.blogspot.com". One sector I’ve tried to avoid in the past was the financial sector. I have only stocks from financial services provider like Thomson Reuters or some Stock Exchange Operator like the NYX. Some major investors and hedge funds have started bets on the post financial recovery earlier with no greater success.

The whole financial industry is still in a crises and this should go on. I don’t know how long. Jobs in the industry are still degraded and as long as the interest rates are low and there will be more and more jobs degraded.

Despite the bad sector news, Last year, the financial sector was the top performing bet with a 27.5 percent gain. I missed this opportunity but as of today, I cannot evaluate all the risks within the sector. I have no idea what kind of risk assets banks have and how they manage them.

What do you think about the sector? Do you have some shares from banks or related industries? Let me know and leave a comment in the box below.

Today, I like to show you the 20 best recommended financial stocks with a higher capitalization (over USD 2 billion). Below the results are five with a high yield.
